India v Australia Semi-Final looks mouthwatering..can't wait
=======================================
Agreed
Neo - You diden t expect anything else did you?
Would love a Pak/Ind semi
I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but England would've put up a better fight.
Just True - I actually think England stood a good chance of winning if they played India in the QF.
Hence I was happy when it was Bangladesh.
When is the Aus v India semi?
If the Aussies beat this 5th rate side the semi will be on 26th
Lefty, I think England would have lost, but been competitive, unlike Bangladesh.
Aussies warming up against a 4th rate side tomorrow. Should win it comfortably
pakistan produce pacers on a regular basis, so whether 4th rate or 1st rate, they are all pretty good.
I think more than the bowling, Pak will need to worry about their batting. Will they be able to handle the pace attack of Aus to be competitive in the match? Thats the bottom line.
But for one day I will probably love if Pak won. Nothing better than giving Pak another WC defeat infront of probably another packed house.
WHo made Mortaza the captain? Today he was like a disgrace to captaincy. Getting angry every other minute on his own players? That was such a poor display of captainship.
Let alone that, I think his captaincy today was very poor. Bangladesh had India in a poor position and he decided to take off the best bowlers and also put all inner fielders right on the edge to give easy singles.
Prior to the 3rd QF everyone new that the Adelaide wicket was flat and also started to turn. Now all of a sudden the Aussies are playing Pak in this ground and they have prepared a grassy green track.
The ICC supposedly prepare the tracks and now out of the blue have prepared a grassy green track to favour the home side. Hypocrisy of the highest order. In knock out matches the pitches should be taken out of the equation but clearly they don't want Pakistan to progress.
Yes, yes, the ICC are against pakistan, as are the world, everyone wants to see them go out.
V-Inzy, it's a commercial decision. Aussies go out early to the cornered tigers is bad for the competition.
The ICC accountants are very nervous and don't want Pakistan to win.
Yes, that's exactly what it is Tushy.
Pakistan has the momentum and my gut feeling is we will win tom
Kash, if Pakistan want to win the World Cup away from home, they need to win on all types of surfaces. Don't know why you'd want to win a World Cup playing on flat tracks, I would want my team to win the World Cup because they are the best team not because conditions suited them. Sadly my team are one of the worst
I've always said the ICC are an absolute joke, but surely if you are playing Australia in Australia, you have to expect to beat them in their back yard with the conditions in their favour. That's what makes winning away from home so sweet.

Agreed Viru
I still somewhat feel it is Pakistan's destiny to knock India out of this tournament.
I agree with Justtrue. Infact I think that should actually be a benefit to Pak bowlers. If you manage to bowl Aus out cheaply, like NZ did then you have a decent chance to chase the total.
Neo I kind of feel the same. It just seems like Pak and India are going play the semis and somehow Pak will break the shakles.
Lets see tomorrow if thats what the script is.
It will be interesting if Pakstan goes through.
Kash - For finance, Pakistan v India will be much more appealing.
So the umpires will. be in Pakistans corner. Australia will be playing against 12.
Semi - India v Pakistan,,,,,,,,,,,Tasty. But would say India go through. Putting the greatest rivalry in cricket aside, India would prefer Pakistan than Australia.
Kash, it's a good point about pitch conditions. However, for me it's a compliment more than anything else. With our best bowlers sat at home, the Aussies are up against players unheard of prior to this world cup and they are preparing a green track to negate reverse swing and spin. Huge huge complement from the Aussies.... The hypocrisy of the ICC won't disappear anytime soon though!
Viru, I don't see THIS pak team beating the aussies, just not enough experience and know-how. A learning experience never the less. If Pakistan pull through this, they'll have exceeded expectations by a very long distance
It's "compliment", not "complement".
Ask your teacher to explain the difference when you go to school tomorrow.
Do they mean 2 different things?
Anyways to the game tomorrow, can't see pak winning they gt where they should have this wc, out of the group so thats it really, qf was bare minimum for the top 8 seeds
