Is this a wum attempt United? ... How have they exceeded expectations? They beat 1 team in the top 7 (Saffers) and the majority of their victories were against sides below this. They were expected to win these comfortably. They performed well and can only beat the teams they are up against, but this thing about exceeded expectations considering the opponents and context is a bit far fetched. Everyone tipped India for semi's. No expectations exceeded here. If SA or Pak had won toss against India the results could have been different.

You have to feel for some of the indian players, some of their fans are unrealistic and crazy beyond belief when it comes to expectations... There was a fantastic article in the daily telegraph last month, which highlights this. I've posted below, but some quotes from that article;
