Sanchez can play CF. Not only that but he can play it brilliantly. And I think we will see the returning Theo playing there a bit more, plus we have Joel Campbell coming into the fold. Put those 3 together and I think Wenger will probably decide that's enough, and I think he's right. Having said that I wouldn't complain if we did go after Remy, or anyone else good enough to play for us.
I still get the feeling we let Ornstein know only what we want him to know.
This Sanchez thing seems legit, but I still remember when he said (think it was him) we were after Di Maria and Benzema, and nothing happened.
Also if we go into next season with Arteta as our DM, I will lose the will to live.

Serge is nowhere near ready to be considered a first team squad regular.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Neither is Campbell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolute BS. The man has two years, successful years, in top flight football, CL and WC experience and you think he is not ready to be part of the squad.
Absolutely awful from Bats... as normal.
we will sign Jackson Martinez also
How true is the Bojan link?
Alexis, Walcott, Cazorla, Oxlade, Campbell are all small fast strikers depending on quick movement and passing. I don't see how a big lumbering forward fits into that sort of forward line.
Bats doesnt understand what Wenger's intentions are it seems? He gave already an answer to this a few months ago....
He wont replace OG. End of. The guy is in his plans. Its obvious. Why cant you see it?
Sanchez, Debuchy, any old backup to Szczesny and a half decent striker to play through the middle would be fairly impressive business from Wenger.
I still think, as I have since we let go of Viera, that our priority should be a decent defensive midfielder.
It's pretty clear Arteta is all but finished, and Flamini has never been anything special.
Personally if it's a choice between £40m on Sanchez & Debuchy or just Pogba, I'd take the latter for sure.
You've got Diaby..surely he will be like a 'new' signing?
I wish, Fan. It's no coincidence we signed Diaby 6 months after selling Vieira.

Sanchez would play wide so Giroud and Sanogo will still be our only central strikers. Giroud would score a lot more goals with Sanchez/Walcott either side and an on form Ozil behind him but there's still better strikers out there. Sanogo is so underrated though, he could have got 4 or 5 goals last season but was unlucky with wondersaves.
Verm should be forced to see out his contract, we have to sign enough other players so we need as much stability as possible. Miquel will probably be 4th CB.

And his touch, technique, dribbling, passing, heading, finishing. Not too much.
Sanogo simply needs to drastically improve his first touch, positioning, finishing, passing, dribbling and composure and he can be a very good player.

Sanogo needs to be loaned out and that is me being generous, he has absolutely nothing to suggest he will even be half decent.

As amazing as Sanchez is, I still think we need one more player up front to really kick on.
