It is funny how many times on this site people accuse other people of acting as if they know it all and then go on to in effect proclaim that its actually them that know it all

I have no idea whether we subsidised Ward’s wages or not and I haven’t said a thing that contradicts that. What I have pointed out is that the E&S have reported both that we wouldn’t subsidise any player’s wages and that we did subsidise Ward’s.

If anyone has anything from a more reliable source than the E&S - which contradicts itself from one day to the next - post a link.

How about the southern evening argus, brighton edition or something, has to be a step up at least

I've said, if you've got a brain in your nut you would understand, it's not as simple as loaning a player out and they pay his full wages full stop! A LOT of factors go into how much a club contributes to a loan players wage. Brighton would not have paid his full bloody wages if no one else was in for him (which they weren't). Hope you understand Twatter??!

Reason being Mick and Jez signed him up to an obscene wage for a player of his limited ability!!

Where did you get the £10k/£3k split from?

posted on 9/7/14

In fairness he would have been on more than that in the prem, thankfully he was one who did have a relegation clause in his contract.

They all did according to the E&S

Ha, another myth shot down.

I think most did to be honest, as most gained promotion increases, so naturally decreases upon relegation.

The bigger signings would have been where that problem started, makes you wonder what kind of deals were handed to the likes of Maierhofer and Surman and why we got rid of all of those easily but can't get rid of this lot for shít!!

You're right Twatter, he was prob on more than 13K per week! Have to ask Tim Nash at your beloved E&S..?!

Still no answer on the £10k/£3k split?

Have you by any chance backed yourself into a corner?

You state that anyone who believes the E&S is a moron (sorry MORON) and then the only “evidence” you have for your £10k/£3k split is, surprise, surprise the E&S!

Give a moron enough rope and they’ll eventually tie themselves in a knot.

EVIDENCE! HAHAHA behave. You keep going back to your 10k/13k split. Fact is you believe Brighton paid his full wages no?? If you don't, then be quiet as you are making a MORON of yourself. I clearly don't know exact figures, as none of us do you fool!!

Rumours on twitter are that brighton's signing of Stephen Ward will be announced on Friday

posted on 9/7/14

Yeah saw something last night leaning that way, pretty sure its happening.
What fee i wonder? I reckon around 600,700 grand.

posted on 9/7/14

Any fees we get for Ward or the rest are irrelevant as we won’t spend the money on players anyway.

Just ask the OP he’s ITK.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good old TWATter. We won't get more than 100k for him IF they take on his 13K (exact figure) wages aswell ;D

Doesn't matter what we get does it? It won't be spent on players so who cares?

True that is clever little boy....

Its more important that we offload these players from the payroll than it is what fee we get for them. Anything is a bonus me thinks

Thank you. That means less to me than you can possibly imagine.

Couldn't agree more, we need to clear the books regardless of fees.
