Ramsey & Walcott

I think we need to get Theo on a new deal as well.

Anyway I totally agree. Need to keep them fit, but we'll have more pace next year with Ox and Sanchez. Would like to see Ox start more too.

Well Walcott will miss the start and I will be very surprised if he stays fit.

But I agree, these two are probably our most important players alongside kosc.

Ramsey is more important than any of our mf and in terms of attacking potency, Walcott is our most influential

With Ramsey there is always a way.

Walcott seems to be progressing well, it looks like he just missed out on the America tour so he can't be that far off.

Will Walcott's pace be affected?

Wenger said no.

Ramsey and Walcott are hardly injury prone.

Doesn't appear to be out at all

I think he's going to New York with the squad.

Ok I was joking before but now I'm serious. Which sensible poster has hacked this guy's account?

Last season was Ramsey's first major injury since the leg break.

Walcott hasn't had a long term injury since 10/11...

Fab are you demented? They are always injured. Ramsey could get better as he grows older but Walcott is a liability with injuries, he's only played 30+ league games twice in his career.

Alright Walcott is fairly injury prone, but in 11/12 and 12/13 he had minimal. Reason why he's only played 30+ league games was because he couldn't get into the team.

Ramsey's had no injuries since 2011.

Ok tah.

Good opportunity for him to stake a claim for that right spot with Theo out at the moment.

Especially with the qualifiers for the Euros coming up in September.

Vermaelen?

Ramsey was injured last season, too. He's actually missed weeks/months every season since he's come back from injury, last season was his worst though.

Hopefully now we have brought in this new fitness guy, we will start to see improvements. Hope we rotate Ramsey more against the weaker teams, can't play every game again

Bar Giroud who just doesn't get injured, the whole team is suspect

Walcott is a far bigger concern cos an ACL injury can prove catastrophic for a player's physical capabilities. It has robbed many players of their pace. If Walcott loses his biggest weapon, we'll be seeing another Owen scenario.

This is also a big season for Ox. He hasn't developed as quickly as he should have over the past couple of years. I still don't really trust him as a key player. He should take cue for Sterling at Liverpool.

Don't even get me started on Wilshere. Been a massive, massive disappointment. Not even as good as he was when he was 18/19.

Ox should always be played outwide, his passing in the centre of midfield is absolutely diabolical

Ox will be a big player for us this season

"He should take cue for Sterling at Liverpool."

The difference is, Sterling got a run of about 30 games until he really started turning it on. Ox is constantly in and out the team, never gets more than 2 or 3 games on the spin. When he gets a run in the team, I think he'll do well.
