The difference is, Sterling got a run of about 30 games until he really started turning it on. Ox is constantly in and out the team, never gets more than 2 or 3 games on the spin. When he gets a run in the team, I think he'll do well.

That's likely a big factor. I was saying all things considered, including his fitness problems and bench warming when fit, and being played in many posittions all over the park, his development hasn't been as quick as I hoped. He looked great in pre-season last year and started our first league game and assisted our first goal in the match and looked lively. It was looking like it would be a massiv season - and then he just had to get injured in that game and miss over half the season. Was pretty frustrating.

Overall, we've been unlucky with our young British players. Too injury prone.

Yep agree, though I'm not sure it's purely luck. We tend to overplay lots of these guys at a young age, and when they do pick up an injury, rush them back.

Ox I think is all set to have a really good season.

Wilshere I just don't know about. I think it's like 2 and a half years now since he got his long term injury against New York Red Bulls and he still looks miles away from where he was before then.

"He should take cue for Sterling at Liverpool."

I know what you're saying, but it didn't take Sterling that long to start turning it on. He really hit the ground running for Liverpool.
