Ok let's have a look at these little stats.

2001/02 W27 F61 Pts89
2003/04 W25 F64 Pts86
2007/08 W23 F88 Pts81 and that's as Champions 😄
2009/10 W26 F89 Pts91

Now let's compare our stats

2013/24 W31 F84 Pts102 that's how Champions do it!

Your highest points of 91 would have been two shy of Burnley's total which indicates the league hasn't been as strong. You would have barely made the play-offs with your Championship winning team.

Good comparison sunshine 👍

Surely a lower points tally would suggest the league is stronger

And no response to attendances

I don't sleep a great deal which is irrelevant and having a username of arrothefoxinoz wouldn't make any sense at all if I didn't live in Oz. Seriously did you go to school?

I've never said I've watched you a lot, I've watched you enough to know that you're not very good and I say I've never heard of them because they're not memorable, they're just an average player running around clueless in a striped shirt playing unattractive football with no match winners!!

You don't really follow language very well do you!!?? This is a challenge!

Poor, expected a more original WUM

You've got a rubbish ground with a small fan base but you still class yourselves as a big club? Ha ha brilliant 😄

I would say the points totals show an improvement in quality actually because we all know that the divisions get harder not easier 😉

posted on 2/8/14

And you can't seriously argue that footballers are becoming more and more technically gifted, surely?

Awwww, "you've got a rubbish ground"
Your getting worse, you may be tired

What's next? Your players have silly haircuts? Your manager has a silly voice? Your chairman has a big head?

posted on 2/8/14

Have you got a good ground?

posted on 2/8/14

It's very Traditional yes, over100 years old, I like a historical ground. Not a new generic retail park one, that all look the same

So I'd say yes

Arro. I believe you.

I think you know. You know more than most

I'm not though, everything I've said is 100% true. There is no point in lying, what would it possibly achieve and why would I lie about such random things? Makes no sense whatsoever!

Have a think about it because some people have actually done something different with their lives!

My opinion on football is my opinion however what our club are doing in terms of investment and building for a successful, sustainable PL future, is fact!

Ok to be fair I do miss Filbert Street and wish we'd been able to redevelop it but no time for sentiment anymore I suppose because football has changed.

Some clubs are progressing towards a brighter future, whereas others are still looking back at the faded light in the past.

Your stadium is too small. outdated and your limited capacity will mean you'll never be able to progress to the next level without moving to a new ground and that's a fact!

Or redeveloping of possible?

posted on 3/8/14

I went to university in Leicester. Lived on Brazil street. Horrid.

posted on 3/8/14

We can redevelop to around 40,000 which has been murmured a lot. Thought you'd of known that with such a broad footballing knowledge

posted on 3/8/14

I don't know the ins and outs of your club and why would I? I can tell you what our plans are no problem.

So what are the odds on you increasing to 40,000?

Yeah Brazil Street is one of the worst streets around that area, I mean it's close to the Tigers ground so that's enough!

Fair play Arro for having such great confidence in your team, not many fans come out ridiculing established teams from a division above before they have even kicked a ball in anger. You may well have a very good season, which if I was a Leicester fan would be finishing 17th or above, but a little respect wouldn't go amiss. To your original question, yes we have overpaid for Ideye, yes he is a gamble, but it's a calculated risk. I have a lot of confidence in our scouting network as they have consistently proved they get most transfers right. Ideye has improved at every club he has been at, proved by his constant increase in value. He may well struggle, but he seems to have pace, power, strength, and knows how to hit the back of the net, ideal qualities for the premier league.

Regarding our club, yes we aren't a big club, we aspire for continued improvement, and apart from last seasons blip, we have been achieving. We run a successfull self sustaining business model, which we have done throughout the clubs history. We have never had outside investment, nor do we want it. Over the last 14/15 years we have slowly improved year on year, have never put the club at financial risk, and because of that have drawn widespread acclaim for our relative success.

Good reply, finally 👍

I accept my enthusiasm for Leicester could appear unwarranted however, they are very talented and better than anything I've witnessed in over 30 years so they're definitely a little different.

The rest of your fans have completely dismissed that it's possible for us to have a team good enough not to struggle, dismissed any of our players as worth having, dismissed that our owners have invested over £100m of their own money and made the club debt free and dismissed the fact that they seriously aiming for European football. All without actually having any knowledge of our players or club.

They have openly spoken about their ambition but it has also been noted that they aim to achieve it using a similar successful model to their multi-billion pound duty free company.

They have said that they will invest heavily over five years to to achieve it, whilst ensuring that the club remains sustainable in the mean time. We're very very lucky and these guys are very different to most jokers that take over clubs because it's fashionable. They are also Leicester fans so what could be better than billionaire fans that want to see us playing European football?

Established PL clubs can be relegated just as easily and over time established teams become inferior through lack of investment and change of managers and personnel.

It happened with us after five seasons, Wigan went down the season before and Fulham last season, both were well established PL clubs run similarly to WBA.

I respect the way you run your club and it's definitely commendable and more clubs should look to follow your model. That said you won't ever progress from a yo-yo club without significant sustained investment and your owners don't have the money or desire to achieve anything more than survival.

There is nothing wrong with that at all and again it's commendable because the financial implications are too great to risk relegation with debts. It's my interpretation that you're making minimal additions to the squad in the aim to improve it sufficiently enough to keep you up and hopefully achieve mid-table if you have a good season. Would it be fair to say that would be considered a successful season?

No arro. We don't care about Leicester City. You startedthis thread in the desperate hope that you wouldbe told your beloved club hasn't wasted 8 million quid on a championship player. You haven't got the answer you want and you are very unhappy.
