I would think it's "mostly female" 'cos blokes would have a really averse reaction to him. Mind you, I have to wonder about what sort of woman would want to have to listen to him bragging and prattling on and on and on..............
Albrighton remains to be seen but in fairness you could be absolutely right or he could fulfil his potential under a new manager? It could be naive thinking of course and you would know him better as a player so I respect your opinion.
My feeling however, is I trust NP based on his past signings and Albrighton excites him, which says something when we have Mahrez and Knocky in the squad. We'll see which way it goes and I could well be wrong but the lad is talented so I could be right.
Chris Wood is 21 so why would we want to let him go? He isn't good enough now but he has ability so he should be kept. Building for the future and all that!
You're right about Nugent, he scored 1 in 5 in a relegated Burnley team but he was very young then, he's 28 now and in his prime. He's a quality footballer and scores sublime goals but I'm not going to put my neck on the line and say he'll take the Prem by storm (that's Vardy) but I think he could do well because he is very talented. Check out his goals and the way he passes it into the net and his goal against Walsall is a different class. If you like football and goals you'll enjoy watching it.
I agree with you regarding Benteke, he was one of the few players outside the top teams with genuine quality but unlike WBA, Villa are a big club so can attract these gems.
NP is all about finding Benteke's though and has brought in some excellent players for small fees, apart from Ulloa. I think £8m is a lot but I prefer it to £10m for someone that hasn't played in a competitive league.
How else is a football club going to be run? Your income must be greater than your expenditure, that goes without saying and is as basic as it gets. How does a club generate more of it's "own" money? By becoming more successful.
Our owners will inevitably make more money from gate receipts, tv payments, merchandising etc with a more successful team, bigger fan base and stadium and sales in Thailand, than yours will be ticking along doing it's own little thing.
Our owners are billionaires and have already invested over £100m of their own money which is not written against the club in anyway. Our stadium is ours and our owners are willing to invest. They've already got a huge percentage of their money back by achieving promotion.
You have cautious owners (which is great by the way and I do respect the way your club is run) who will never be aspiring to achieve European football, even the blindest of fans must see that!! Survival is your aim year after year, happy to just be a PL club and fair enough.
Our owners are ambitious but cautious in a sense of achieving success with a sound, proven business model. Speculate to accumulate and all that! So our clubs are vastly different!!
Now I'll ask you again, which clubs in the PL or the Championship currently have owners with that desire? Come back with something educated please 👍
You haven't got a clue about me and I don't care what your opinions are because they're completely irrelevant!
I'm talking about football and you keep banging on about my social life and friends? What is wrong with you all? You act like little girls sniggering in the playground and quite frankly it's embarrassing!!
Stick to talking about football because nothing at all you can say about me will affect my day, I can assure you of that!

Your owners will be no different to all the other owners that have come and gone. Apparently he has pumped £100m into the club? Not sure you are allowed to do that so excuse me if I remain sceptical.
Anyway, owners come, invest £m's, realise it's wasted once the penny drops that no one other than the current top 6 are ever going to win the League and qualify for CL.
Then it dawns on the 'mega-rich' owner that to get on in the prem you constantly need to spend £m's and even that is no guarentee of even survival.
Norwich. Pumped £m's into squad last year.
Fulham. Mega rich owner. Spents £zillions.

You see this is your problem because you're tunnel visioned in a sense that you're trying to compare an apple with an orange.
I'm fully aware of all the clubs you mentioned and they're vastly different. Once again I'll explain why!!
Our owners aren't chucking money at the club as a short term investment, they're in it for the long haul not to earn a quick quid and have a go at running a football club because it's fashionable. You need to understand that our owners are Leicester City fans and have been since 1997. Absolutely massive difference!!
They've already spent millions redeveloping the training facilities, they're investing money in our youth development, have bought the stadium outright, written off all it's debts and invested in players. All of this completely legal and they have gone to great lengths to ensure that they meet FFP.
They have bought the adjacent land which they propose to build an ice rink and basketball arena on and adjoin it to the extended East Stand once they've increased it to 40,000 after two seasons.
Our owners are aiming for Europe so potentially 7th place in five years which isn't too unrealistic given that we finished 8th in the past without such investment and with a squad nowhere near as talented as this one.
Incidentally, our team under MON and your current team are a gulf apart in quality.
They have also paraded the players in front of the Thai fans twice since the end of the season to boost their profile. It's not talk, it's all part of a well organised business model. These guys are very different to any of the owners you mentioned above, FACT!!
Yes you gained the information by asking the questions but why? My personal life is irrelevant and it doesn't matter if my friends are male or female or if you think I'll annoy blokes, none of it matters because this is a football forum so how about we stick to that yeah!!??
Our owners are ambitious but cautious in a sense of achieving success with a sound, proven business model. Speculate to accumulate and all that! So our clubs are vastly different!!

You're talking utter tosh again.
This is what 99% of clubs do. Leicester are no different.
Apart from Walker at Blackburn, he was a fan and won the league 👍
Man City were playing in Division 3 just 16 years ago and someone chucked money at them and look what happened!! Chelsea were at the bottom of the league before Abramovic and look what happened there too.
Think about your argument, it's completely flawed.
To be fair arro Villa are big club & West Brom are not, so you are spot on with that.
Leicester May suprise a few people next season, me included.
I am more than happy with having another midlands club in the division, so hope you do well, just not against us.
As for Albrighton he has played under a number of managers & a lot of villa fans were sad to see him go. I think he lacks confidence and is very week so easily knocked off the ball.
He may well be good for you, but I think he is like a number of players who come out of the academy and don't seem to improve.
How is it? You have just contradicted yourself, fool!
It's proudly been said that your owners run a sustainable club which isn't spending above it's means and fair play.
Our club is spending money in the hundreds of millions but essentially out of their own pocket initially to gain promotion and now we'll benefit from the PL's money and they'll recoup their investment.
They are prepared to spend a lot more money to achieve success than you are because they've got more money. For them to make us the brand they want they know they have to invest, or speculate to accumulate!!
Different!!
Our owners are billionaires and have already invested over £100m of their own money which is not written against the club in anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You had better believe that this £100 million will be written against the club sooner or later, either in the form of long- or short-term loans, or by way of shares in the club.
Or are you saying your owners have made a charitable donation?
If you have any references to this matter, the £100 million finance, let me have them and I will read them.
Yeah I don't know how these guys think they're a big club, it's embarrassing. I thought the Forest fans were bad but at least they've won something worthy of making them a big club.
NP is a great manager and brings out the best in players and he's really excited about him and considers him a senior member of the team so naturally I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. He was disappointed to leave but really excited for a new challenge.
We have an excellent fitness team here, it's one of our key strengths on the pitch so I'm sure he'll benefit from that and become stronger.
How do you think you'll do this season?
Have a look into it yourself mate, it's the Internet and it's all there in black and white for you to read as much as you want. I'm sure you're capable of doing your own research 👍
If you're happy with your club not being able to live within its own means, being bankrolled instead by rich foreigners, Thais or Arabs or Russians, then good for you, and good luck with FFP if and when it ever gets off the ground.
And for all that Villa are a big club, where has it got them these past few seasons, starting with MON eight years ago? He spent shedloads of money on massive wages and got two sixth-place finishes I think, and since then, nothing, flirting with relegation. Some big club they are. And now Villa's American owner has seen enough.
Have you not read anything I've just written or can you simply not comprehend it?
We will 100% comply with FFP, they have been solely working towards that and having overspent with Sven, NP has had a strict message to get rid of any players not worth their money and we've had a complete overhaul. The only players remaining from Sven are Konchesky, Nugent and Schmeichel.
The rest have been replaced with very exciting young talent who for the most part, have been playing together now for two and a half years.
The owners have enough money to play with a couple of hundred million, not that they've spent that much but as I've said before, it's a case of speculate to accumulate and they have invested over £100 million of their own money to put the club in a financial position. They cannot pull out and take their money without losing their entire investment because the sell on value of the club would be less than they have paid to own the stadium and put the club into a financially stable position. They're business men that support Leicester City! If I had £100m spare as a fan I'd use it on my club so why can't a Thai fan? These guys are fanatics and very astute businessmen, we are very lucky to have these guys!
I would not want to be bank rolled by foreign owners as such and I dislike the middle eastern countries having a pop at it because it's something fashionable to spend their money on. I wouldn't like that for my club!! Our owners aren't that!!
Now we're promoted they're going to make all their money back and re-invest, only this time they'll be doing it with a sustainable business model.
We're not chucking silly money at quick success even though they could definitely afford it if that's what they wanted. They learnt a quick lesson with Sven though and they're definitely proving their intentions are legitimate.
