One reason we don't refuse to play them...
Same reason as the rest of English football doesn't refuse to play the 'Big 4/5/6'...
We're gonna have to get used to BCCI calling the shots.
No to DRS when they play in a country who embrace it?
The MCC, ECB, ACB(?) all have to bow to the mighty rupee. Still, what goes round......
I know it's all money related, but if the international teams refused to play them unless they had drs... how long before the cancer of cricket get into line?
Oh I agree with you Wetherby, but the same applies in football & politics, and nothing ever happens.
Jimmy will make the Indians pay
Both my guilty. Why would there be an apology??
Has Jimmy., the caant apologised??
No.... Get off your high horses. Your a world 11 with no say in cricket... The BCCI dint want drs... Live with it.

Ha ha..... Yeah right. Like that'll happen.
Your players are begging for an IPL contract
Firstly Anderson has shown in the past he loves an altercation or two so innocent is hardly the word I would use - world class in a bowling sense yes but attitude wise not for me. Secondly, surely if the case took over six hours there must have been a bit more to it than what you and I know especially seeing as Anderson did plead guilty to pushing Jadeja which according to him was in self defence - a claim denied by Jadeja and Dhoni. Now due to evidence both men have simply been cleared but there was a case to answer quite clearly.
As for the powerhouses of cricket I think you'll find the BCCI top that list as demonstrated by them getting their way over DRS and the ECB being able to do absolutely nothing about it for this series. I'm not saying what they do is right but they are the most powerful. Also the BCCI have a 22.9% share of ICC revenue as compared to the ECB's meagre 11.7% and seeing as expected ICC revenue is 15.700 crore rupees I'll let you do the mathematics seeing as you love the rupee so much. Money talks.
The BCCI may be many things but in this case India were perfectly within their limits to raise this issue with match referee. It isn't the first incident Anderson has been involved in and I bet it wont be the last.
"These fools wouldn't have ANY power if the other nations refused to play them."
You made your bed and all that. Fact is Indian TV stations pay out far more to show an Indian game than any other nation. All cricketing nations know it is a box office result when India come to town. Any thoughts as to why the ECB pushed for a 5 match series? I'm sure your cricket board doesn't share your view because as I said money talks.
Told you Anderson would not be banned. Whole thing a shabby mess fueled by pettiness. About on field stuff and overall series than the incident......
I find it astonishing that some of the folk here are still of the opinion that India were right to go ahead with the accusation.... Also find it unsportsmanlike from the BCCI and India team management not to mske a statement apologising to Jimmy (directly or indirectly).... All this could and should have been avoided
Kav.. in the last test Jimmy let his bowling do the talking, long may that continue, no one likes us we don't care.... the Leeds United of the cricket world..... Afridi...
Yeah, it is very womanish what India did here.. Anderson didnt punch or kick him anyway, just some push and they are all boys. Cowardly from India. They should have move on from such petty issue.
slimeballs that's what they are.. utter disgrace to the sport..
How many times have England cried when the Aussies get up them..... Oh but that's different.
I'd say bunch of women, but it's hardly an 'English,', team
Forget pushing.... Anderson, the caant, complained about the Aussies sledging him. Talk about a slime ball.

England are, that's why the 'home of cricket' jumped ship
Really think we're going to go on and win the series now. This has added some spice and the senior boys are back on form. Can't wait for next Thursday!

Much better with added spice. Looking forward to the next test too.
Lefty, no matter what you say about Australia and England sledging... the fact remains that only INDIA would drag in the lawyers over nothing and make fools of themselves.
Lefty I think you will find England and Anderson did not even mention the incident in Australia. The only reason it was brought up was the match referee heard it over the stump microphone.
Generally, most sportsmen understand when "handbags" is all that occurrred, this probably is why the England players were slightly taken aback by the complaint.
I also believe the match referee had had a quiet word with both sides saying effectively "at the end of this game you all shake hands on the pitch" - I've rarely seen that happen in the third test of a series, last test yes, batsmen and fielders all the time but an entire squad coming out?
Dident England try to get Warner banned, for a little scuffle in the pub??
Hypocrites
Anderson still haven't apologised!!!
P. S. The ECB also lodged a complaint. Even though they thought it was wrong. Stupid??
Absolutely pathetic antics from India, ashamed by nothing offended by everything.
The evidence took a gruelling 6hrs to present, takes a long time to scrape that barrel. The judge dismissed it all in 10 mins of deliberation.
Apparently India want reviewed..... DRS?
