If we vote No then we should stop pretending to be a country.
We should pack up the Scottish Parliament and have Westminster back in control.
We should stop competing as Scotland in sporting events.
We should readily accept that we are in fact just a region of England.
A no vote is saying that we aren't a country.
Did you read curlys post Quinn...or was it just unlucky that you posted that straight after
Fine, maybe you think rising poverty levels, foodbanks and the UK being the most unequal society in Europe is a good thing and that it doesn't need to change.
Maybe you believe that all the sleaze, broken promises and total lack of choice between political parties at Westminster are fine.
Maybe you're just scared.
Maybe you don't believe in your own people taking decisions for themselves.
Anyway, im done talking about it
Ivan.
Why don't to start a Republic of Dundee?
That would be even smaller and vulnerable than Indie Scotland.
Historically speaking, city states used to perform quite well actually.
It was just their lack of strength in fighting off invaders that made them vulnerable.
If you look at places like Monaco, which aren't vulnerable to attack, they do rather well.
I would happily back a city state of Dundee if the No vote wins.
Does Dundee vote consistently differently to the rest of Scotland?
Does Dundee have natural resources?
Is Dundee a country?
No.
You're talking out your àrse. Just another pointless Unionist comparison which is utterly meaningless.
If being part of something bigger is so important to the BritNats then why don't you go the whole hog and become part of Europe? Why don't you ask to join America, or be a Chinese colony?
Oh, what...you don't want that? But that would be much more secure wouldn't it...let the clever Chinese manage your natural resources...let them give you a wee allowance to live on. You could even have your own parliament if you like.

I'm not sure who said it above but whoever said we should stop pretending to be a country if we vote no is bang on the money
Holyrood should be reduced to rubble and there is no point in having Scottish parties etc that we can vote for.
My old man will likely lose his job if it's a Yes vote but that doesn't change my thinking that long term it's the best option for us
Why will he lose his job NNH?
Yes, then maybe Labour will get the finger out when they're away from the Westminster-based centrists.
Yes Curly, women might even have a voice in an Independent Scotland
I was undecided but its a no brainer really. I want my vote in elections to matter. This vote isn't a vote for Alex Salmond or the SNP, its a vote for control of our own affairs.
