Agreed on question time.. Dimbleby is great at pulling politicians up for not answering questions and reading from a script they have planned

The only way Salmond can "win" the next debates is by expressly saying what his plan b is, even though we all know what it is. Because as soon as he does then it takes the wind out of their sails.
Just as a point of interest by the way, because I'm sure it was in this thread that expenses and hotel trips were brought up (although it might have been another thread, I can't be bothered going back to check), I see that expenses in the undemocratic House of Lords has gone up by £4million since the Tories came to power.

Personally I wouldn't be comfortable with walking away from debt for a number of reasons, not least that we'd be landing that on the rest of the UK and quite frankly we'll still need good relationships with them. Plus I think it's morally wrong to be honest and given that I want independence for social justice reasons I think it would be poor to start off on such a footing.

The only way we'd be justified in walking away from the debt in my opinion is if WM tries to deny us our share of the assets of the UK. If that's the case it's justified imo. However, I wouldn't agree or support any other way in which we walk away from our share.
Dunno how the fvck that happened - my 4th paragraph above was meant to be my 2nd! That's dyslexic even by my standards!
That wouldn't have happened in a free and independent Scotland.
