Clarke average against Pak is 34 which is his lowest against all test playing nations. He is a class player though and looks rusty.

Never mind kash, he can take heart from that because another great also tripped over vs Pakistan in that regard had his lowest average against all test playing nations... Sachin v Pakistan @ 42.28 lowest against any other side.
Junaid done his knee again and is likely to be out for a while. Knee injuries for fast bowlers is bad news.
I was going to comment on lefty's article- but it's closed for comment - what does that mean ??
looks like he has returned from another one day Lesta holiday.
Where's Duncan?
How's murali doing mate? How much are you guys paying him?
I've just had a look at the last 3 tests played at Abu Dhabi.... Highest wicket takers are all fast bowlers;
Anderson
Broad
Junaid
Bilawal
Steyn
Morkel
Ajjy and Zulfi barbar feature, but not massively. On that basis, you'd think the Aussies will fancy their chances.
Oopps- forgot monty. Ripped us apart with 6 wickets in second innings. Anyway, the point is that the fast bowlers have a massive part to play
There is more bounce in Abu Dhabi. What are the chances of our batters batting well in two tests? Very slim.
Kash,
Only thing that worries me is that our batsmen were ducking and diving from Johnson and siddles bouncers on a slow dead dubai pitch. None of them had the cobfidence to play the hook shot.
If there is more bounce and a bit more pave in Abu Dhabi then we are looking doomed.
Just to add and contradict myself;
Pakistan have played 5 tests at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi so far. Beat England & S Africa and drawn 3 ... So not a bad record
Happy days then. We won't make it easy though.
Kash, I just noted you have 4 1* .... You gotta love em. If we go 2-0 up or win it 1-0 expect a few more dodgy accounts to be created just to add more 1* ....
Lost the toss, will lose the match.
Starc is playing.
Yeah, starc has started off poorly. Line and length all over the place
Good session for Pak and biggest shock is that Hafeez survived the new ball

part of the course. Remember your thread when we conquered Africa there was like 15 1 stars.
That's why I always say kash - Afridi was spot on with his comments. Never has a saying never been so true.
Anyways, we find ourselves in a decent position at lunch.
Guess we should be happy that he at least got to 40
Azhar Ali scored 14 runs in that session
Agree kash, any runs from Hafeez is a bonus... Aussie seamers getting plenty of reverse swing and Lyon a bit of turn, think we'll see a result.
YK closing in on a 95 year old world record if he manages to score his 3rd ton on the bounce.
PURE CLASS YOUNIS KHAN....
Legend
Brilliant effort. Not sure what Ramiz was on about when he was talking about some 95 year old record.
