Yeah he's a bit too obsessed with Arsenal.
How many premier league medals has he got? Even david Moyes has won the community shield. Fact is that man city is a step up from arsenal.
couldn't get a single cross to pass the 1st man, bottle job. Deschamps was right to exclude him from his international set-up
He's a bit too obsessed with Arsenal

Yet an Arsenal fan makes a post about Nasri.
Congratulations on your win today. Fully deserved. Focus on that, instead of focusing on a player who really should mean very little to you (Arsenal as a club will always be bigger and better than any one individual player).
Did Nasri say something about Arsenal after the game?
What did u make out of that win Ripley? Only your defence was 2nd choice and even then they were poor
What did u make out of that win Ripley?

That Arsenal were much better than us today.
No more, no less.
had he not commented i'm sure you would still boo him as you have done every season since he left, yes we were outplayed not for the entire 90 mins but for a great chunk of it. He was subbed as he was coming of the back of a pre season injury & only played 45 mins of the last game in the usa. Why risk injury when fitness is important heading into the beginning of the season. Last season you beat us 3-1 in Helsinki. We put a fair side out in that game but were missing the Argentines once again we are missing more than the Argentines so I personally think the result bares no resemblance as to how the league will unfold. Likewise you were missing your German contingent & played with a makeshift centre back, Who I must admit looked pretty good. Let the season begin the transfer window shut & see how things transpire instead of name calling & trying to score childish points by wumming. Won't happen tho guaranteed.

I'm sure Na$ri is fine counting his money...

Maybe you should have given Nasri some of that advice before he mouthed off as he always does.

As Wenger said no player is too big for Arsenal simple fact is City have been able to spend millions upon millions of pounds to get where they are and Arsenal have had 230 million pounds worth of debt to pay off. Arsenal will always be a huge club and it's an honour to play for Arsenal for any player. They are nobody's stepping stone that's for sure.
He left Arsenal to win trophies. The Charity Shield or whatever it is called is hardly a worth while trophy. I don't think he will be crying himself to sleep tonight.

Which worthwhile trophies have Liverpool won recently?
They are nobody's stepping stone that's for sure.

To be fair, they kind of have been recently.
Man City a step up from Arsenal? What planet? Half a dozen years of oil money, nothing that sheff weds would not have been able to do,following 30 odd years of laughable mediocrity and abject failure. You need a reality check. Keep thanking Mansour because he is the only reason you are where you are,the highest paid players on the planet and one of the best teams in England, all achievable by any middle sized club with your backing although Europe has been a little tougher. Arsenal dwarf City as a club everywhere in the world except Manchester.

Nasri doesn't play for Liverpool. Stop deflecting from the actual point that has been made.
To be fair he actually left the club professionally and on good terms. Arsenal fans soured his relationship with the club by directing their predictable vitriol towards him (as they've done with a lot of ex-players who've moved to clubs with a better chance of silverware). Like anyone who works for a living, most footballers want to work for a company that is successful and pays them more than others, unfortunately fans hold players up to some unrealistic moral standard that they don't adhere to themselves either.

I think the point was that he called it not a worthwile trophy. So I'd like to see what he thinks is one. Should be a simple answer no? No need to jump in and be judge on this thread, particularly as you haven't the skills for it.

No one here needs a reality check. City are currently a step up from Arsenal. City are the current Champions. Arsenal are not. Yes, it is because of the investment that City's owner has made, but that doesn't alter the fact that City have actually achieved more than Arsenal in recent years. Yes, City have had endured numerous mediocrity years in their history. That doesn't alter the fact that City are currently enjoying success.
What planet you say? The actual planet we live on - the one in which City have won the league twice in the last 3 seasons.
These are facts. What I have said in my post has actually happened. So I'm living on this planet. You, it seems, are not.

Throw in there a few relegations. Then a narrow escape from going bust in 2005 when City had to sell their only decent player to avoid sinking into oblivion. That's the "quality" of the sorry club.

The community shield isn't a worthwhile trophy. So it's correct to label it as such.
And what's with this rubbish about not having skills? Don't make this a personal debate, based on nothing but conjecture. There's just no need for that. Not to mention it being completely futile. Stick to the topic at hand.
