Positives
Home win
Doukara obviously
Bianchi sounded decent first half but went very quiet
Cook and Benedicic sounded promising
Berardi until he went kung fu panda
Negatives
Accrington had more attempts, on target and corners
Clumsy at the back
Midfield looking lost
Failed to close out game
Only 3 shots on target despite being in control
Its a cup game. You win... Thats all that matters.

Win was the important thing, we're through to next round, give Hockaday some breathing space and some game time for more players.
Really important for Doukara to score too.
Team performances have to improve though, Boro will be much sterner test.

Two crackers by the big man and a bit of a ping pong and in off four players and a couple of their aunties for their goal...!
What an eccentric attempt at a tackle by the Swiss Ninja..!!

Disappointed we didn't go on to score 3/4. We only had 3 shots on target, perhaps Douks will be like be like beckford and just take chances when they come his way.
Low scoring game compared to 'Udders and Brentford games!!
Boro walked past Oldham 3-0 will be a difficult game for us
Three strikes on target against L2 opposition, playing at home, says it all really. We still have one hell of a lot to do to threaten good Championship teams. Can't see us getting owt against Boro. We need the new signings to blend into an effective unit and that will take several more games and assuming the Hock is up to the job of coaching them and getting things right tactically. The latter requirement is not something I'm confident he can do. The sooner he goes the better.
My own opinion, of course. Feel free to disagree.
With the new players we have and the 3 new lads coming in I think we will be fine this season.
Might take a few games to gel but can see us getting it right on the field, Cellino clearly wants to have a competitive team.
And still more players to come in

I'm looking forward to Saturday. With a few new additions in the side who knows what we are truly capable of?
Midds fans are drooling over their attacking options so I think it might be a tough game.
Hope we can get the new guys in today!
Need a result Sat - even a point would do for me at this stage.
We will improve as players settle into their roles and get to know each other in a competitive situation.
