What would happen if you do vote Yes, and then it takes a drastic turn for the worse?

Do you then expect the UK to take you back and bail you out?

Purely hypothetical.

That's a little narrow minded, don't you think?

Considering the amount of money Wembley brings in in comparison to Hampden Park.

no, only a single example of the difference.

But there will also be a political vacuum left in Scotland. The traditional parties are unvotable now to a lot of Yes voters. A lot of us also voted for SNP simply to get this vote, and have no desire to vote for them after the referrendum.

tbh Mick after this referendum I struggle to see how I could vote labour again.

If a yes vote, half the labour Scottish ministers will have to walk quite frankly, they will have no chance of courting votes. Lamont for example.

A No vote will not kill the issue, I think that's for certain. Its started a conversation that hasnt really been around in mainstream politics until recently.

What does the Union mean for Scotland?

I tend to agree with the view expressed on the BBC the other night with Andrew Neil where he explained what the ramifications are for those of us south of the border even in the event of a No vote.

There will most likely be a federal UK.

£113bn brought into the economy from tourism last year in London.

£700m brought into the economy from tourism last year in Glasgow.

There is a reason so much money is poured into London. I live near Birmingham and don't have a problem with it so don't see why somebody living in Glasgow sees it any differently.

The issue that could secure a Yes vote is the NHS. If the message gets out clearly that the NHS in Scotland will die with a No vote then we might just have a chance.

Apparently it's the female vote that is mainly in the undecided and this could be a huge vote winner. Eveny wife, who has never swayed from a No vote during all the campaigning, had a little wobble in her conviction because of it.

Salmond needs to ensure he nails this issue on the BBC debate.

After a No vote, Scotland will move to the left, yet again.

The confidence in the Labour Party has been shattered, the Tories do not exist any longer, the Lib Dems have been decimated too and I can see the SNP dividing into smaller Groups. There'll be a demand for a new left-wing party- and either a faction of the SNP or the Greens will fill that void.

Busby, I think a lot of folk up here resent paying billions for a high speed rail link, which is designed, not to bring new business into London, but rather to divert business which is currently elsewhere in the UK to London.

That is frightening for anyone outside of London.

Yep, there are lots of other things the government waste money on.

I work for a company based on a university campus and we deal a lot with a government funded project.

Their project manager has to spend her entire budget or loses what she doesn't spend. I'm happy as I now have access to an iPad, Apple Mac and Windows Suface2 at work. I'm sure the public wouldn't be happy with the £17k she spent for the sake of it.

Not to mention the roadworks which sudden and needlessly pop up all over the place when the end of year approaches, for exactly the same reason.

It was a mistake from the Yes campaign to choose Salmond from the debate, that'd only have worked with Cameron.

They should have chosen someone like Harvie probably.

Busby and any other English poster.

Would you vote yes to English independence if it was on the table right now?

You guys haven't been getting a great deal either. Two of your last three prime ministers have been Scottish and you are the only country in the UK who doesn't have a parliament/assembly who have been set up purely to look after English affairs.

Nope, I like the UK. As I mentioned I'm half Scottish and I don't live far from Wales.

In fact, I call myself British, not English
