I read yesterday that IDS is now looking at pensioners and how much they receive for the newest round of austerity cuts, and particularly the winter heating allowance. Because pensioners love having the choice between eating or heating their homes.

But Better Together tell us the only way to ensure our pensions is with a No vote...

To be fair, none of the leaders inspire confidence. He's a bit of a gimp but Farage is probably the most likeable and charismatic leader.

Even with a no vote, Labour have burned their bridges up here.

Next election will result in a Tory/UKIP coalition

No, the electorate will be too scared so will vote Labour en mass in 2015.

However, when the Scottish elections are due- where people actually vote for who they want and not tactically to prevent someone, I think you'll see their vote stagger and that's despite a reduction in SNP votes.

They won't go after pensioners, Ivan.

It's not politically savvy- they'll attack the young, immigrants, single parents, the poor, the disabled- anyone who can't really stand up for themselves.

My point was that all of the leaders are terrible to sit and listen to, nobody has a care for what they say and nobody likes them.

Compare how Cameron speaks to how Obama speaks and it's like watching paint dry.

Point

I still think though there has to be a level of likeability to even consider someone as a better speaker than others, and Farage is so far down on the likeability scale

There are so many UKIP voters who have no idea what that parties policies are about, and would be severely worse off if they were actually elected; or even had a say in government.

The dumbfcks in Britain voted for Clegg because the guy looked sincere and parroted people's names in the TV debates.

It's depressing.

Get ready Partick.

You're gonna be even more depressed.

I do not see how it is harsh, the Tories and the Press have largely picked on the weaker elements of society who have had little chance to demonstrate against their vicious policies.

Their benefits policies have gone after the weakest and most vulnerable and the way these people are totally disenfranchised with politics makes them easy targets. Pensioners are more likely to vote Conservative and more likely to vote in general- I think the establishment knows this and targets them.

The young don't deserve the crap they have got- they done nothing to this mess.

Immigrants didn't cause the recession.

And disabled people are not actually scroungers, but are people who we should show compassion and help for if you call yourself a society.

The Tories don't believe in a society. Corporate tax avoidance, bankers bonuses, privatising and selling off national assets to rich oligarchs is all well and good- but people who have fallen on hard times need to be ruthlessly ridiculed and victimised as a drain on the economy. It's shocking.

Maybe. But so will you when the status quo you are voting No to maintain gets wiped out.

Salmond has blown the Yes campaign.

Too arrogant to share power or influence.

He will allow no other face or viewpoint.

He is a balloon.

Fat and full of air.
