Bloody hope not!
One of our best back up players at the club, academy graduate and offers something a little different to the first choice players.
Would be a terrible decision to sell him!
The problem is, we'll sell him for pennies, and keep Chico who offers literally nothing.
He's a local lad, loves United, academy graduate and has a cool hair cut. Keep him!
Would rather we sold hernandez
It looks to me as though Wilson looking so promising could be the key here.
I hope he signs for Arsenal. Their board would implode.
People might laugh, but if this is true, I wouldn't be surprised if Real Madrid looked at him.
I know a few Madridistas and they never forget Danny at the Bernabeu. Scared them shítless.
Hope it is not true though... Would far rather Welbz stayed than Chico. Offers far more to the team and proved he can hit the net, when played centrally.
sunderland want him if they don't get borini apparently
Maybe Liverpool should back out of the Mario deal, and bid for Danny?
Would be a terrible decision to sell him!
.............
No, it will not. He doesn't score many goals and he gets even fewer assisits.
Also keeping him will hold back the development of James Wilson.
I would very much prefer Hernandez to go before Welbeck. Slightly disappointing news this if its true. Would be good for Welbeck though to go and get a good regular run of 1st team football. Although not sure that would be the case at either Arsenal or Spurs.
Heard some great stuff about LVG. Nearly laughed myself silly. Apparently he's not making many friends among the players. He certainly has strong convictions. You'd better hope he's right.
His goals to minute ratio in the league last season wasn't that far off either Rooneys or RVPs and he more often than not got played out of position.
A very useful squad player to have. If it was a choice between Danny and Hernandez I'd keep Danny, offers more.
When we play him upfront he does score goals...
Better backup striker than many other premier league teams have and an academy graduate who grew up supporting the team, what is not to like?
If the plan is to bring in Wilson as his replacement then fair enough but TBH I would much rather he replaced Hernandez.
People might laugh, but if this is true, I wouldn't be surprised if Real Madrid looked at him.
-------
Behave.
Not sure what's so shocking about this. When was the last time any of our youth players have gone on to make a position of their own in the club?!
I would not want him or Hernandez sold at our club. However, even they need to want to play football game in, game out and it's not going to happen at Manchester United, especially until van Persie leaves because neither him or Rooney are getting dropped.
Tbf a managers job isn't to make friends, it's to do what he feels is best for the club and if that means upsetting a few players then so be it. This was always likely to happen with a manager like LVG and a club like united in the state they are currently in.
Also keeping him will hold back the development of James Wilson.
----------------------
Welbz was twice the player Wilson was, at the same age, so this makes little sense.

- I'm sure they've forgotten he even scored against them in Madrid, forget even looking at him as an option.
Chelsea will be cursing the Costa signing now knowing that Danny was available

I wouldn't mind betting LVG will look at using Januzaj up front alongside either Rooney or RVP.
Swap for Di Maria anyone?

LVG has actually said he likes Will Keane
I think he's might see him ahead of Wilson in the pecking order
Welbz was twice the player Wilson was, at the same age, so this makes little sense.

No he wasn't twice the player, so don't exagerate. Yes he scored goals at youth level, but he has not developed as people hoped.
Wilson is going to score goals. he is a classic goal scorer in the mode of RVN, imo.
Now, I do agree that Welbeck offers more than Hernandez.
Not sure what Chich has done pre-season for LVG to think it would be better selling Welbeck tbh

No. Not after how slow he looked on tour. That was the first time I have seen Will Keane and I was not very impressed.
