Sterling is

Willian?

Sterling is what?

If Willian had to match up against Sterling down the flank my money would be on the Brazilian.

Your money would be lost then

You should stop drinking altogether, nevermind little.

Okay, I bet my lost money that he does nothing against Chelsea.

I'd start Sterling over Willian....

No, I wouldn't

I wouldn't swop sterling for ANY prem player. He has at 19 more intelligence skill and commitment than 90% of others I have seen in the prem era.

There are better players, there are stronger players but the lad is 19. In a few yrs if he keeps up his improvement he will beon par with hazard, robben etc.

He already plays tip of a diamond, wide left and wide right; scores and assists in each of those....did I mention hes 19!

You wouldn't swap him for any PL player but then say he needs to improve to reach Hazard's level #GBLogic

Though I would also take Sterling over Willian

Blue....what ru not getting? I wouldnt swop because the talent Is immense, he could easily be better than hazard in a few yrs, he may even be on par with bale etc....for that possibility; no, I woukdnt swop him for better players NOW.

Do u get it yet?

I don't think it is crazy to not want to swap your player for any other. Firstly you have seen him come through the youth teams, into the reserves and now into the first team and national side and keep getting better and better and at 19, why would you swap that excitement for another player, especially given his potential to be one of the best?

Toor....he gets it 100%

I get what you're saying, but what extent does that go to?

Say if a Ronaldo or Messi swap was available, would you really turn down either of them banging in 40+ goals for you guys for the next few years in hope that Sterling fulfills his potential?

I'd put him in, in the Chelsea first XI. Alongside Hazard and Shirley but then you'll have folks whinging about how those 3 dont have good defensive workrate and they dont track back enough.

In this case, yes I would. Whilst Sterling isn't from Liverpool, he did come into the youth side at 15 and there is nothing more exciting and perhaps rewarding as a fan to see a young player develop into one of the best. Ronaldo has perhaps a few years left at the top, Sterling could potentially have ten!

Of course. Local lad, rose through the ranks into the first team, scored many goals and spent ten years at the club. None of us would have swapped him for anybody.
