There's a fantastic restaurant in the Lake District with a Michelin Star.

Yeah but most of the 3/2 star Michelin Star Restaurants are in or around London.

I live in Shropshire and there are 3 within 40 minutes drive.

Maybe so, this is the complete list, none of them are in Shropshire, maybe around it.

Mr Underhill’s at Dinham Wier, Ludlow, Shropshire

Maybe one had it's star taken away.

There are two in Brum now though, so a 25 minute train journy.

Not according to the latest list. Maybe they lost their stars? It is updated every year.

That isn't a full list I don't think. Two of my clients have michelin stars (two each, both in Yorkshire) and they aren't on the list.

Also, I'd be wary of the fact the site is on wordpress. Which official sites use a free wordpress site?

4 in Birmingham

I've only been to Simpsons and Adams

I need to get on this shizzle.

Ah, that's 1 star, fair enough. You responded to my point on 3/2 star places. Anyway, I'm sure there are a lot of good restaurants outside of London but there is still far greater choice within London, not just high end but the massive choice of world cuisine with such massive multiculturalism that doesn't compare outside of London.

I just shown you one in Ludlow

There is pretty much at least one per county, if not in a neighbouring county.

Point being, you can always find world class food within an hours drive.

I've been to restaurants with some beautiful food that isn't quite elaborate enough to be considered Michelin star, the point being, you can get very good food anywhere in England.
