It really is amazing how Mancs have piped up all of a sudden after the Falcao signing.
They've conveniently forgotten just how bad their defence and midfield is.

I will be fascinated to see how Van Gaal gets all of Rooney, RVP, Falcao, Mata and Di Maria into the same side effectively.
I'm saying that it can't be done and at least one of those players will have to make way.

Our midfield and defence which has been absent Herrera, Rafael, Rojo, Blind and Shaw all season?

So are the likes of Rooney, Falcao and Di Maria well versed in this "total football" that you speak of ?
Chelsea have the best squad for me.
Herrera – Untested in the PL
Mata – Patchy form for a long time
Young - Dross
Valencia – Not short of dross
Januzaj – Talented but very young
Di Maria – Untested in the PL
Rooney – Questionable fitness
Van Persie – Questionable fitness
Falcao – Questionable fitness and untested in the PL
Similar level of talent but compared to their Chelsea counterparts who all look at home in the PL, better fitness, younger and hungrier.
They also looked balanced, coming together as a unit and have higher levels of work rate.

Srange how when a target goes to a rival they suddenly lose their power?
Fabregas > Herrera
Oscar < Mata
Salah = Young
Schurrle > Valencia
Willian > Januzaj (although this is probably the hardest comparison as Willian's role for Chelsea is quite unique and they're probably about as productive as each other. Januzaj also a lot younger).
Hazard = di Maria
Remy and Drogba < RVP and Falcao
Costa = Rooney
It is actually quite even. This comparison comes out as a draw. But ours is more balanced. United's 5 best players are di Maria, Mata, Rooney, RVP and Falcao, and all 5 cannot start.
Wtf? Di Maria and Hazard equal? You're having a laugh mate. The Argentine is the superior player. Although Hazard can be better in a year or two.

They're both equal for me, di Maria is more creative but Hazard has better close control and a bigger goal threat

Bigger goal threat against a Burnley maybe.
Put Hazard up against a top class full back in lets say the World Cup and he turns back every time.
Di Maria - different mustard!

Yeah, alright
I think this question should be asked again in a couple of months. The a few of the United line up haven't even played a game yet so it is to early to judge.
Falcao and Di Maria are excellent players but we have no idea how they will settle to life in England and the PL.
Also is Falcao the force he once was before that serious injury that saw him miss the best part of a season ?

Sounds like a very big job. Certainly one that will take at least a couple of seasons to successfully implement. Will Van Gaal be given that long ? Moyes wasn't.

Hazard's a top player. But Di Maria is comfortably superior.
Does everything Hazard does to a higher degree (bar dribbling).
