No we've already got the Brazilian version.

Wilshere was dubbed as the saviour of English football a few years ago . I think most people realize now that he is actually just a pretty average player. He seems to spend more time on the floor and moaning at the ref than he does playing football

I'd only consider accepting because we have Ramsey in the same position.

I firmly believe that if Wilshere played regularly in the deep-lying midfield role, he would be worth more than that.

He's average at best

50 million because of his hype
add 30 million due to traditional rivalry
add 20 million due to hyped potential

He is yours.

Can he play CB?

posted on 3/9/14

ok but he is an improvement on Anderson, Carrick is past it and Herrera is unknown without a single Spain cap...

Wouldn't pay £5m for him.

No

Wilshere is a massive talent and you've got to be a fool to think otherwise

He is the most fouled player in the England team, possibly even at Arsenal.

That's because all he does is run into players and fall over.

Surprised the refs still fall for it, to be honest.

Feck that. Wilshere is the last player I would sell at Arsenal

Yes he would improve our midfield but that isn't particularly hard when your competing against the likes of Cleverly, Anderson and Fletcher

I'd welcome him at United for anything under 15 million and for him as a good solid bench warmer should one of our midfielders get injured

Wilshere's been written off too quickly. He has immense talent, you can't have watched his breakthrough season and tell me that he dosent. At the moment he's going through a spell of bad form and injuries that young players do. I'd still take him though.

People forget Wilshere is still recovering from his 16 month injury lay off. I hope to see him get back to his best this season.

There are countless players who like world beaters when they are younger and then subsequently descend into mediocrity a few seasons later. Anderson was dubbed as the new Ronaldinhno ffs

Hes not even worth £10m.

Wasn't that almost 2 years ago? There comes a point when that excuse is just not good enough.

I thought he played pretty well in the first half. He adds balance to the side and drives forward well, that deep lying role is his best position.

England should play 4-2-3-1 with henderson and wilshere in the midfield 2, theo rooney sterling ahead and Sturidge up topp

Anderson is a great example.

Wilshere's career has been following a similar path.
