So basically, it looks better but has major flaws in gameplay...I'm so waiting for Pes demo.
The gameplay is actually much more enjoyable than fifa 14 tbh but they do have major issues to iron out prior to release IMO
The crowd sound really good, and commentary is good too. Passing feels better to me.
Yeah commentary is much better actually saying that. The natural throwing in of the odd flick/trick from the ai is fun too. That never happened before on 14.
Plays very smoothly , noticed a few dodgy ref decisions . It's only a demo so hopefully there sort it.
More or less agree what is being said, some weird ai, some dodgy physics and prem league reffing is the worst if it. Ah and for me the "floaty" player movement has returned, what I mean by this is it sometimes seems like the players aren't that solid....
On the plus side the attacking ai seems to have had a slight upgrade, is nice to have players helping to attack. It looks and sounds gorgeous.
Ah the biggest negative I found was it made me play as Liverpool in the 1st game and I made them win the league!
Yeah I couldnt bring myself to play as them. Paused and quit game

Been playing it again this morning , went to options cranked it to world class , night game , rain , looks nice , all in all very impressed.
Dont know about you guys but I found the 'normal' play speed far too slow to be realistic as well. Bumped it up to fast very quickly as it was tedious.
FIFA 14 was not a next gen game for me. Was just a graphics upgrade. This one does seem legit, hope they throw in the music played in specific stadiums too as I enjoyed being able to have the liquidator and blue is the colour playing in the stadium pre and post match on ps3
Dribbling is far too OP for me and defending can be frustrating due to the momentum mechanics any mistake is brutally punished if you're against pace.
I was very underwhelmed with the demo to be honest. I have been a FIFA fanboy since FIFA 94 on the SNES and have had growing concerns over EA's minor drip-fed changes year on year. I reluctantly bought the game last year and after playing the new demo yesterday, I can honestly say that for the first time in 20 years, I will not be buying a FIFA game.
The demo yesterday was just a copy and paste of last years with some minor tweaks. Yes the stadiums and crowds are different, but is it enough for me to buy it? The answer is no.
I bought a PS4 recently, and because its so close to FIFA15 being released i didnt buy FIFA14, but i did download the demo.
Last night i played the FIFA14 demo, then played the FIFA15 demo, how people can say that there are little to no change baffles me, i noticed a massive difference in gameplay.
Theyve definately worked on GKs bigtime, finesse shots are no longer OP, found it rather difficult to score and finesse goals, maybe the more i play the easier it will become. I like the change to the corners, i like the difference player celebrations, reactions of scorer and team mates/crowd.
Really looking forward to the game being released.
Also, i like the unpredictability of the refs, although i made a perfectly good challenge resulting in the ref giving AI a pen, its made me think, shouldnt go to ground just as easy next time, i like that

Don't like to burst your bubble but it isn't unpredictability of refs, its just plane bad programming and has been plaguing football games for years.
It's very hard to win the ball back unless the computer mis-places a pass. Hard to tackle.
Also it seems very hard to defend. People who use skill will love this game. Sadly I'm not one of them.
Serious question:
Seeing as the referees get decisions wrong in the game (intentional or not...) would you guys be against the linesman getting offside calls wrong from time to time? No doubt it would frustrate at times but again it would certainly up the realism of the game more. I never even watch offside calls in the game because they are always correct decisions.

I have always been a big fan of programming unpredictability into the game like that, and like you said it could be quite annoying, but at the same time for me would be fun. The games are sometimes too harsh and even yesterday I got wrongly called offside when its blatent the player is level.

I think it could work well if it was an optional extra- much like being able to turn off handball etc. they could just call it dubious decisions or something along those lines.

I think the main problem is there are numerous, glaring issues which the devs constantly neglect. Contrast that to the halcyon PES days (PES 3-6) where there weren't big changes with each edition, just tweaks; slightly different gameplay, some new licenses, a new game mode, something different in Master League, but they got the basics right every time. Always fun gameplay, good reviews and it's stood the test of time.
I played FIFA 07-13. Tried the 14 demo but I've given up on it on PS3 now. Will see how it fares on PS4 when I get it. There are some good new features but some old problems still look like making an appearance.
I think the problem is that the developers are more concerned with the Ultimate Team feature that they couldn't care less about the main game itself. They’ve also made no effort to address problems with the general online aspect for a few years now. They know people will be obliged to buy it for the next gen, with the promise of better graphics, gameplay etc. But the sad reality is, that all the new add-ins could have been put in the game two years ago but suckers (I include myself in this bracket) will continue to dish out on it. EA are laughing all the way to the bank.
they do have wrong offside calls on the game.
plenty of times on pro clubs ive been onside and even the line in the replay has showed i am onside and i was called offside.....
add to that the EPIC bug of when the keeper comes out but there is a defender there behind the keeper and you still get call offside ....
