obstruction is obstruction even if you are a defender trying to win a goal kick.... 'shepherding' is just obstruction!

Play acting.

Going down with minimal contact. Going down when struck in the face regardless of the force. An example recently is Frank Lampard - Wilshere caught him (accidentally or not I'm not sure) and he went down holding his face. If Wilshere hit Lampard with the same force on the street or in the tunnel Lampard wouldn't hit the ground. I think it's disgusting behaviour.

(Nothing against Lamps it's just the most recent case of it I've seen. It happens quite frequently)

Players 'being entitled to go down'

One of the few things i disagree with Gary Neville about.

There should be no choice in staying on your feet. If there is contact that is not enough to knock you down then you should stay on your feet.

People who focus on play acting and justify this as a reason not to give the original foul.... i think its disgusting behaviour!

Crap refs ruining a decent game of football

Cheats - Diving, wrestling at corners, waving imaginary cards at the ref to book someone.

FFP - a rule to ensure the big clubs stay big and widen the gap to the other clubs

football writers tackling important social issues. if your editor thought you were good enough to write about them you would be writing about them for a living at the front of the paper

Another example is Balotelli and Senderos. The man is 6'+ and I would think relatively strong. Also wearing shin pads. The kick by Senderos wasn't that hard and although he may have been off balance it certainly wasn't hard enough to leave him on the ground for the time he was. I think you should be disciplined for such behaviour.

So Senderos and Balotelli should both receive a retrospective ban.

This was the main reason I had a strong dislike for Suarez. I can't stand the majority of footballers behaviour in situations like this and retrospective punishment should be handed out. Only problem being some players have different pain barriers so it would be hard to measure.

Diving!

Let's call it what it really is, CHEATING

If a professional sportsman has so little respect for his fellow professionals that he's prepared to gain competetive advantage by cheating and making the opposition look bad into the bargain, it should be a straight red until they get the message.

Yes I'm taking about you Ashley Young you cheating tw at.

No blood, no foul not being introduced. I mean how many divers are there in football.

I also would like them to take the Rugby view that if a player is injured the physio's come on whilst play continues to patch up a player.

Also I hate it when people go you only support that team cause of the money. No you Muppet, it's my home team and I have supported them since Dmitri Kharine was in goal.

Blaming referees.

Swings and roundabouts. You win some, you lose some.

If you create and take your chances in a game you will more than likely win it. If you are clinical with your chances you will win the game. Don't blame the referee for making a human error - why don't you finish off your chances instead.

I have just had a re read, and sorry for the poor grammar ! wrote this with my boss near by so rushed it!

also, its purely a coincidence that it was Chelsea and arsenal who I dug out - nothing to do with the fact they don't really get on with Spurs. I just don't like big flags and they are the only grounds that have them
