People who want to cause trouble will do, whether at the football or just in general society.
Ok Joe, I think I get what you were trying to say.
Are you trying to say that you think people within the same support might react badly to fellow supporters if they try to make a statement about the referendum?
As in, if the Green Brigade pull out a 'No Voters are Soup Takers' banner then will fellow Celtic fans who voted no go mental? And obviously vice versa at Rangers?
Joe
The people have spoken, if anyone wants to risk starting something at the game then they'll get whats coming to them, 85% of the people voted, all of them fitba fans.
most folk are just happy it's over and that we conducted ourselves with a bit of class, that it's not the end of the road and we need to be united for whats coming, to start pash at the fitba is counter-productive
It was Chelsea fans wot dun it.

Elite - do you think there will be a correlation between which team one supports and how they voted? I think history dictates that in Scotland, as in Spain, in Germany, in Turkey, in Argentina, and in many other places, politics is and has for a long time been woven into the fabric of supporting football.

You'll see a big old unionist celebration at only one football ground in Scotland.

Politics has nothing at all to do with supporting my team, and I suspect it is only Celtic and Rangers who have any supporters who mix politics and football, and even then it's only a minority of their support.
I honestly cannot fathom why you'd want to mix football and politics.

And there's that stereotyping thing again. It really is utterly pathetic
Ivan.. The reason is because its a way for a large group of people to assemble and voice their opinion
