Good to see the country regressing back to old stereotypes after the progress made during the week

This is a decent post to be fair not very well worded but it's a cause for concern

Will be interesting to see how fans react this weekend

In my opinion it was always going to come to this..

A no vote for a regression vote

Best wee country in the world my erse. Best backward thinking more like

Joe, doing political demonstrations at a football ground is simply wrong in my opinion. It is neither the time nor the place for it.

As I mentioned earlier, there was a United for Yes movement. It was a way for United fans to come together, get guest speakers in and discuss the referendum and share ideas. Importantly, these discussions were held before and after games, away from the ground. They did so by choice, rather than forcing their views on the thousands in attendance.

That's the way it should be.

Seeing that only posters bringing up the old stereotypes are Yes dinosaurs then I would suggest otherwise

So Ivan, I completely appreciate that you may not have linkages between football and politics, but there are people that do. I'm not saying people should or shouldn't, that's not my business, I am just saying that across the world, it happens.

Curly - surely your statement that a large part of the celtic support were pro (old)Labour does show that politics is woven into the fabric of supporting a football team.

Im not condoning it.. I just think theres a good chance it could rear its head this weekend and that it could get ugly again.. Just wanted everyones thoughts on whether that would be the case

I don't think joes asking if it's ok to happen

He's merely pointing out that it's likely to happen

Don't disagree that it will be a minority Elite, but the correlation would exist.

And as I said, people who want to cause trouble will do WHENEVER their pea-brains decide.

Hopefully we can all move on. I could imagine the odd chant relating to the referendum at games this weekend but after that let's leave it behind.

Elite..

The independence vote was a big thing to me. I really wanted change and believed this was out chance to make this place that much better. But now its been plunged back into the dark ages, and with the nhs privatisation, tax rises, trident staying and voting no longer mattering to us, its pretty much depressed me.

Joe raises a fair question....he's not proposing it, he's not condoning it, he's simply suggesting that it might happen.
Cue the Scotland Second mob to accuse him of stirring up trouble and not accepting the democratic will of the people.
