10 years ago 20% wanted independence. 1.6 million is a fantastic number. This ain't over yet. Westminster will see to that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It shouldn't be up to Westminster, it should be up to the SNP to provide answers to the real questions they never answered.
And considering they time they had to outline what their plans would be, then I wasn't willing to place my confidence in them to take us forward following a yes vote.
Anyone who calls a no vote selfish, is very ignorant.
Ok so 2.1m people were selfish to your needs/wants joe, sorry :/
------
No they were selfish to their own want, instead of Scotlands as a whole
Bollox.
I'd say your opinion is wrong Joe.
The Yes voters were dreaming.
The No voters were awake.

Everyone was voting for what they thought was better for Scotland.
Your opinion is quite simply stupid.

They had ages to prepare but there was absolutely nothing prepared by way of selling us their vision, absolutely nothing. How could they expect people to vote on a pipe dream
Expect an 'aye bit, aye bit'...

Is it selfish to want my country to prosper and not go back into recession, which would hit the poorest hardest?

Barry Glasgow was not a big Yes vote.
A 4 point swing would have seen a No majority in the City.
Professor John Curtiss pointed out that the swing was made possible by the thousands of non Glaswegian students temporarily resident in Glasgow.
Hall of residence like Wolfson, Murano Village and the Cathedral Street Halls were overwhelmingly Yes voters.
If the Glasgow 53-47 vote was big, the National win was huge.
No displays of celebrating the No vote at the Alloa game today. Guess that fit in with your stereotype though
I can't help but feel this article was wrote in a hopeful tone, what he wanted, rather than what might be...
