I'm surprised some of you dismiss fastest laps. By their nature drivers are highly competitive beasts and to have the fastest lap will be something the drivers want. Unfortunately with the silly nature of the current F1 format, drivers have to be wary of fuel consumption and tyre wear instead of out right pace.

For those stats I was just showing Rosberg as a comparison as drivers of others cars is unfair. Senna had Prost keeping him honest, Hamilton has ......... Rosberg.

To completely through my valuation of Hamilton vs Senna, it could be argued that many drivers of today are faster than their counterparts in history. Senna was a game changer with his dedication and focus. Schumacher then upped the ante with almost a 24/7 focus on squeezing more out. I would guess today that all of the drivers spend more hours doing their job, than say drivers of the 80's.

To be fair tho to nico, he has been very clinical in taking his opportunity when hanilton has occasionally faultered.

I think the point is tho, straight flat out race. No reliability issues. In the current cars, i think hamilton perhaps has a couple of tenths in quali, n perhaps over a race a bit more about him. This isnt even the dumbed down (to paraphrase the forum moron) refuelling era.

Lets not, in any of this, as much a hamilton fan i am forget how good rosbergs been this year. Very clinical, quick and reliable. Very good driver, just not a great one in my book. Hamilton however is a great. He will be remembered as one. Crazy really with just the one wdc, but i think everyone respects his ability, aggression, pace.

Plebty said in his last year at mclaren, if he loses his mental weaknesses, there aynt nobody catching him. Perhaps we are starting to see this

I watched Senna race live on multiple occasions, I would wager more times than our "guru". I would also wager I understood more about racing as a 4 year old than martial does now.

I debate with people who understand what facts and logic are, it would be pointless debating with you.

The Monaco example is a perfect example of how little knowledge you have and it is something so basic that it clearly highlights the lack of knowledge plaguing you.

There are a myriad of examples like;

Mercedes will lose their power advantage
Mclaren will not have Mercedes engines in 2014
Looking at a snapshot of data and assuming the conclusion is correct
Not understanding the differences between Massa and Bottas
Dogs on a lease
Rosberg not being able to win in Monaco
Webber being a great driver
Vettel driving at a higher level than Ricciardo
RedBull wings not flexing even when videos and documents show it is

The list goes on and on. Now the logical person will filter you so as not to read the stuff you post but it provides me with entertainment.
