Sakhos the reason our defence is poor... nope, selling him wont solve it, should have bought a rcb. Skrtel has been the only constant in defence during that time. Not that it matters, sakho will be leaving now.
Agree with the rest of what cob said
Atleast next season it will be sturridge mario origi, hes been scoring for lille

Kash
I agree that we would of bought another striker if Borini had left. I think he saw what Henderson did and thinks he can do the same. I just can't see him cutting the mustard for us. He works hard and can score. He is stil young but he is not a champiosn league player in my eyes.
Cob
City have 3 strikers who score plenty of goals
Utd have 2 world class strikers and Shrek
Chelsea have Remy, Costa & Drogba
Apart from Sturrdige none of our strikers would get in any of their teams.

I'm sorry but I find articles like this infuriating. 28 days after the summer window has closed, 5 games into a season and you're already talking about who to buy in January!!! Modern day football fans are brats.
Wind your neck in FJM
I was a season ticket holder from 1984 until 1999.
I am not a modern day brat or whatever childish name you wish to use.
I have an opinion that our strike force is weak compared to our rivals and that Sturridge is the onlyu decent striker.
I saw enough of Borini in the last 2 seasons to see that he is not good enough.
I have watched Balotelli for the last 4/5 seasons and realise he is not the player we need. He does not fit our system or style. It doesn't take 15 games to work that out and 15 gamesof avergaeness could mean our season is over.
We have been really average this season and I blame our attack for that.
Loving the insults on here today
I can imagine the ones writing off Balotelli are the same ones that didn't want us to sign Sturridge
Balotelli will start scoring and he isn't as lazy as people make out
Mario fantastico
Mario magnifico

We had a poor defence last season as well but we scored goals. We don't look like we will score this season when Sturtidge is not playing
We have only been missing Sturridge for what, 5 games?
And that's enough to extrapolate across a whole season?
There are plenty of reasons why we would improve if Sturridge was out for a longer period, players settling down for a start.
Our attack has been almost completely new in recent games.

May not have noticed but we sold suarez so we will score less goals, which is why the defence needed to improve, and it hasnt.

Truthfully, how many actual games have you seen him play in the last 4-5 seasons. Are you an avid watcher of Italian football?
Wherever's he's played he's had a decent goal scoring record. Goal every 165 mins at Inter, every 150 minutes for City and every 132 minutes at Milan. So we're looking at a 1 in 2/3 goalscorer.
From what I've seen so far, he isn't lazy at all. He is strong, has a very good touch, and he has lots of ability. However he has also made some bad decisions regarding when to pass to and hold the ball and has lost it, however that is to be expected when you've just joined a new team.

read the early posts by me. I said he has a good goalscoring record on his day.
I lived in Manchester when he was at City. I went to a few games with my house mate who is a big Vity fan.
I saw him at anfield when he got cold and forgot about the game completely and the kop ripped him to shreds for being a wuss.
I have watched many Italian games that he has played in as I am a Milan fan.
There is a reason he keeps getting kicked ut of clubs as he is a disruptive influence. Yes he is talented but he has baggage.
My original point was that we need another striker as he is our only back up for Sturridge.
Borini and Lambert are average and I will probably get slated again for stating this but it is my strong opinion that they are not champions eague players.
Talking about strikers we may have dodged a £20m+ bullet in Wilfred Bony who seems to have fallen into the 2nd season syndrome.
It makes me laugh how quickly into a season players get written off.
Bony started last season slowly then scored a bag full in the 2nd half of the season.
We are only at the end of September.
We should forfeit all our games until January then buy players and win the rest until May.

Feck off greatteams with your abuse and sarcasm.
Just because I watch football in other countries as well as this one and don't wear blinkers.
I have my oinion on Balotelli. I hope he has a major turn around in his career and proves me wrong but i have a feeling I will be correct at the end of the season.
I have been on this site for year snow and this year I am considering carrying on with people having a right go at fellow fans for their opinion.
You obviously think Mario is going to score bag loads for us and help us achieve the tilte. I don't agree with this but the last thing I do is fire abuse and sarcastic comments as I am above that and far to old to be putting up with it.
It just needs time in Rodgers we have a manager who has shown he can figure out systems to suit players.
Give it more games and especially time on the training ground and it should come together.
Patience and support

I support my team through thick and thin and I have consitantly back BR as I feel he is one of the best young managers going.
My points were made that we need better striking options if we are to challenge for the league that was all.
If Sturridge was not so injury prone I would feel a lot better having Mario as the No2 striker but I have a feeling Sturridge will have a few injuries this season which leaves us weak.
