Cesc, I was also born at the Weir in Balham. 1966. Pretty certain it's not there anymore. Also lived in Streatham Vale and Mitcham. Chelsea used to train just up the road from the Bullock, but sold it to Palace when we were skint.

Lovely goal, great build up, lovely finish with the outside of the boot. Like watching Chelsea this season.
Loved watching that nice one, I really miss those Saturday/Sunday league games. Good days.

Whitewall, on the subject of Saturday/Sunday football, did you ever notice the difference between the geezers that played on the 2 days.

Saturday footballers were normally proper players who had played to a high standard. Sunday's was just beer monsters/animals who were probably having a tear-up on the Saturday at Football.

Obviously I played mostly on Sundays.

Still like that now 69. I work my bo llocks of playing centre mid on Saturdays. And then breeze playing centre half on Sundays. Occasionally we play the odd side who surprise us. But most are ther stereotypical boozed up, geared up roley poleys.
