I think the above is a perfect example of why you grind some peoples gears .
Rather than just say you don't agree, or that we have different views on the direction of the club, you go full ad hominem .
Which is fine, but it's ironic because your judgement is so poor . Nothing personal from my end, the board would be much duller without you I suppose.
---------
again RC, the problem with you coming on your high horse, is that you are one of the most ridiculed posters on ja606, and taken seriously by no-one. therefore it doesn't matter what you think
i didn't realise this was a forum for little biiiitches who get their feelings hurt
___
Alternatively, a "good opinion" could probably be defended without insults etc

His main trouble is his propensity to ad hominem based on his own high opinion of his own opinions which leads to article breakdowns. Shame
-------
i don't mean to be pedantic, but whats the point in having an opinion if you don't have a high opinion of your opinion? if you didn't have a high opinion of your opinion then it wouldn't be an opinion. it would mean you basically don't know whether or not you agree or disagree with yourself.
i have opinions on everything to do with spurs, some correct, some incorrect, but i will fiercely debate what i think is right.
do i get things wrong? of course....
do i have any say in what happens at spurs? nope
therefore does it matter if i am right or wrong? nope.
therefore i don't see why others are put out of place if i defend my opinons strongly? i didn't realise this was a forum for little biiiitches who get their feelings hurt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Defending your opinion vigorously is the only way to go. Ad hominem has no place on a forum of this kind,
Argue your opinion or against someone else's opinion rather than calling someone a "belllend" for having an opinion different to yours.

Pride is your weakness . Rattled your cage by barely saying anything
----------
the thing is that i actually am not a particularly "proud" person.. i just don't like to be misquoted or told that i have said something i haven't, just because it suits someones argument.
call it cage rattled if you wish..... it seems i rattle far more cages, and i give it and take it.
i don't call anyone a belllend without it being justified.
it will either be as a result of something today or a past conversation.
on the flip side, plenty of people call me various names and i couldn't care less. i give and take it.
i have had people write articles on this board complaining about me ffs. and more than one !! i couldn't care less
"i don't call anyone a belllend without it being justified."
this is why you can rub people up the wrong way. I see no need for the insults myself but each to their own. Good afternoon all.
oh faack off RC pretending you are a saint
i don't call anyone a belllend without it being justified.

What was justified about calling me boring for posting an article (which i may add your still on). I am not interested in having slanging matches with anyone on here, if you don't like what I post either come back with a reasoned response to why or just ignore what I post. Simple
me rattled? my opening comments on this article wound you up and you have been coming at me ever since
you are so easy though. any bad word against redknapp and you are in there like a flash

The problem is we play a counter attacking style. Meaning we have to almost invite a team onto us before we can start to attack. Again last night we were relying on besiktas to attack eventhough we are the team at home and really should be controlling/setting the pace of the game. Thats not how we work sadly.
Three problems I have at the moment...
1. we are unfit towards the end of the game the players are lagging and making it easier for the opposition to attack as the discipline in formation is not there due to the tiredness.
2. The disciplined way we play relys on somebody to hold up the ball so we can get numbers forward on the counter. That is not soldados game and ade cannot hold up a balloon at the moment.
3. Substitutions poch is easily one of the worst coaches I have ever seen for spurs in using substitutions. Wrong personnel, wrong timing and completely baffling. What could lennon offer against arsenal playing on the wrong side of the pitch in a withdrawn role? Well exactly what happened nothing. What could adebayor offer last night after being so awful against arsenal? Again as proven nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now you are confusing matters. Do we play a high-line, pressing game or do we sit back, inviting teams onto us to create space to counter attack.
As someone who thinks that most football science is rubbish I come on her to try to make sense of the modern game through reading other poster's comments and explanations.
Is the discipline there but we need another player or two with different abilities or is the discipline no there because of lack of fitness.
But I agree with the substitutions last night. Soldado seemed to be having some good input last night yet he was substituted rather than Kane who appeared to be limping at one point prior to the sub. And why put Ade on at all when what we really needed was to shore up the defence or put on some creativity, and I could only see Lamella on the bench capable of providing that.
I did wonder last night if Poch would have played a different team had it not been for the fact that we play Southampton on Sunday and he will see this as a very important game for his own personal reasons.

Haha lets confuse some more. I love your views bill on footbalk science and formations would happily swap with you. I find I can never enjoy games because I sit there dissecting it. As for the confusion....
Firstly forget the high line it is a commentator and armchair fans dream word. There are only two varieties if you sit on the edge of your box in a bank of players that is playing deep, if you sit in front of the box that is "playing the high line". There is no word for inbetween. Most people fail to remember under that swashbuckling harry season we played an extremely high line more so than we ever have done since but it only became a fashionable word under a.v.b.
Off the ball the focus is on high pressure but that is in order to restrict the space of options with the ball and the opposition movement. We try to regain the ball as soon as possible but we pass sideways in order to create gaps and wait for opportunitites. There is no onus on us to attack but I suppose the quick closing down of opposition fools people to thinking it is an attacking team.
On the ball we look to counter using space and pace. The emphasis is on the space as we do not commit that many men forward. Again we look to score but it is a safety first approach. Not out and out negative but certainly not an attacking type of play.
Personally i hate the way we play I will grin and bear it away from home but I will never accept tottenham hotspur not looking to control the game at white hart lane. Even when we had awful sides full of dross we looked to try to win well against anybody at white hart lane. That new years day victory 1996 against man united 4-1 springs to mind.
