Rafa was top class

made me look for some Modric clips from his Spurs days. It made for depressing viewing when you're off the back of a humiliation at home by Newcastle

Poor stamina. He's not looking too good these days punching at the lower end of the Bundesliga for the past couple of seasons.

Edbo, to be honest mate I didn't let it get to me to much. Went to the game Sunday and was angry after but took the misses out that night to the westend with a few friends and completely forget Spurs so f. Uck them!!!

Not sure I'd call it "mugging" but he did enjoy scoring against us.

vdv wanted to go. i have no time for players who no longer want to play for spurs.

bale didnt wanna play for spurs, let him go. same with modric.

if king wanted out i would have said he should faaack off too.

goes for the current crop too. i don't care who it is, lloris, vertonghen, lamela, eriksen, whoever it is.

if they don't wanna play for spurs any more then let them go, because i am fed up of paying to watch players who would rather be elsewhere pull on our shirt.

i am in the minority but i would rather watch 11 players who love playing for spurs, with less ability, than watching 11 high class players who couldn't give a shiiiit.

Sherif, you obviously didn't see the wilshire incident made him look a fool on plenty of occasions during that particular match

You wouldn't find 11 players(professional) who'd love playing for Spurs!

The players you miss most is Bale. Individually devastating and could make things happen even when you were sheite. Followed by Modric - not his biggest fan, but you lack a player like him that can put his foot on the ball and control the pace of play. VDV is more replaceable. Eriksen has similarities with him.

Very naive idealism. Except you're a Madrid or Barca or Bayern or Man U or you have oceans of cash to burn like the sugar daddy clubs, youll always be seen as a stepping stone.

Chronic, so just forget the great years these players gave us? Bulls. Hit. These guys mentioned are twice the players of anyone in this Spurs side and that included chadli and even lamela at the moment. Not one of these are fit to lace the boots of any of bale, modric or VDV. We have regressed as a club because the quality of players we have bought have got worse. I miss these players big time and couldn't careless if they wanted to leave. Would have them anyway over this lot.

no you don't forget them they are part of the history of the club. and we are a great club with a great history

we have been in this position before though, and i seem to be one of the few fans that can just cut ties with a player once they go.

i have no more affection towards bale than i do towards stuart nethercott, even though bale was world class, and nethercott was awful.

once they go they go and thats that. i don't wish bad on bale, but i don't really care how his career progresses from here.

i dont dispute that. my issues is more with players who clearly don't want to play for spurs, (vertonghen, modric etc), rather than players who would rather play elsewhere (bale)

Well thats where we differ mate. I miss these guys big time and look at the sorry lot we have now and think what we used to have. I look at chadli and think you are nothing on these guys. I look at Eriksen and think you are nothing on modric. I look at our strikers and think they are half the player of the brilliant berbatov.

well yeah. i already said i am in the minority of spurs fans, or even football fans.

i would even go so far as to say the way i think is very unique, but its just how i feel.

enjoy them when they are here, but when they go, they go, we have to move on just like they have moved on.

i don't even know who vdv plays for tbh, once they go i just couldn't care less.

VDV was an exceptional player for us and oh how we could do with some of that kind of ability in this current shower.

But I think we sold him at the right time, he was starting to just go past his best, he wanted to leave and Levy made a couple of million profit on him also.
