Dan the man with the plan.
Great news. Good job they didn't offer us the OS or that would have spoiled his plan completely! You wouldn't want to play poker with Daniel Levy thats for sure.

myhammers you plum did you read the article? It cites Spurs ongoing negotiations to develop the North London site and the how the recent riots have highlighted the plight of the area and the importance of Spurs remaining there.
At no point did it say Levy used the OS to dupe BoJo and the government. And you calling him a crook is a bit rich, to say the least. Jog on now.
my hammers,
do you actually believe the things you post here or are you a really bad wum? I just cant tell
if he pull's this off(oohh err)i'll forgive him for being on his hols during last few day's of the window.
take on darth levy and you'll feel his WRATH!!
I want Darth Levy to make some kind of statement to us and tell us what the F u kk is going on with our transfers and stadium.
He hasnt said a word in weeks.
MyHammers only reads what he wants to read. This guy has spent the last 6 months or so using this OS saga to make us feel West Ham have got one over on us.
The fans never wanted the OS, and now it's clear that Levy didn't either.
Good tactics, well played Levy Just hope we can get this stadium build on the move. 2-3 years is a long time, and we'll be losing a lot of ground between our top 4-5 rivals in this time.
As Mrs Tottenham said, you wouldn't want to play poker with him!
COYS!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh poor myhammers . How can you ever come back with any banter now it seems Spurs will be getting their new stadium afterall? That was your only "so called" bragging rights you had left in your locker & Boris Johnson has now scuppered it.
Are (some) of you Tottenham fans that naive and deluded? Are you saying the only thing that has made a difference to Spurs' application is the riots?
It's clear that Levy was using the OS as a bargaining tool. By delaying the OS decision in the court system, there was the possibility that it would jeopardise the Athletics World Championships bid. And also cause other problems. Boris Johnson, to save further inconvenience, has finally given in to his demands.
By getting involved in the OS bid and then dragging it through the courts, Levy has behaved in a selfish and underhand way. A lot of time and money has been unnecessarily wasted. And all along the OS was not his priority.
West Ham's owners may be immoral, but yours are clearly dishonest.
Are you saying the only thing that has made a difference to Spurs' application is the riots?
No. Building a new stadium has been on the cards for a number of years now
Boris Johnson, to save further inconvenience, has finally given in to his demands.
Finally? He gave his backing months ago
money has been unnecessarily wasted
Like the £40m loan West Ham need from one of the poorest boroughs in London?
Bragging rights? Are you seriously comparing your potential new stadium to the Olympic Stadium? You'll still be stuck in the middle of nowhere with poor transport links. Or is Levy hoping to get funding to build a new tube line?
lol myhammers. lil old west ham. you enjoy your running track lad. you will still be in the championship playing in a half full stadium when its finally ready.
myhammers - Currently 36,400 people have no problem what-so-ever getting into north London. The council will (hopefully) invest some money to renovate the roads and overhead lines to help cope with an extra 15-20k fans.
How's the Championship going anyway? Enjoying it?
West Ham The joke club of London.
Spurs are backed off knowing they will lose the case in courts then feared of legal costs to pay to OLPC and Newham Council.
Enjoy your place in the relegation zone.
myhammers,
Are you looking forward to your cup final tonight with Aldershot.
I think we'll leave this round of the CC, if thats okay with you.
And we'll look forward to playing "West Ham in disguise" tomorrow in our 2nd leg of the Europa League.
"Are you West Ham ,
Are you West Ham ,
Are you West Ham in disguise ,
Arrrre you West Ham in diiiiisguise "
I hope you sing the same song on Sunday too.
Is Modric head fine?
I'm sure more Aldershot fans will turn up tonight than there were Tottenham fans for your first game of the season away to Man Utd.
And you think you could have filled the 60k OS!
MafiaBoy,
I hope you sing the same song on Sunday too.
======================================
Why would we sing that on Sunday? Do Man City play in claret then?
Think about it Mafia, think about it.
lol myhammers. we dont need our league match tickets to be advertised on the radio mate. we leave that to you and chelsea
west ham, what an irrelevant club.
Digs at our away support. Even when we were 3-0 down the away support was louder than Utd's at times!
It's a long old trip from London to Manchester on a Monday night. Just think before you post myhammers, you're making yourself look silly
Why would we sing that on Sunday? Do Man City play in claret then?
"Some of you don't" know the difference between claret and 'red and black'"
Chronic
You'll laugh at this. I was listening to my local radio station on Saturday, where they had 2 "loyal" West Ham fans battle it out to win tickets for the Leeds match just gone. The first question was:
How many times have West Ham won the FA Cup?
a) 1
b) 2
c) 3
And the only went & said (a) ONCE, didnt he?
So not only do they have to GIVE tickets away, the type of "fan" that is getting the free tickets know as much about football as Jade Goody did on Geography.
Jade R.I.P
don't be fooled, if we had won the OS bid we would have moved there...for Levy its a no brainer - Save £150m, sited in the most accessible location in Europe, kudos of the Olympic site, on the doorstep of the city and loads of coroporate types...he knows it could have fast tracked Spurs to being a super power, almost instantly putting us on a financial par with the biggest clubs in Europe (exlcuding those in private ownership)....but he also knew that it was a brilliant bargaining chip to get a better deal in N17.
He is a master negotiator! agreed!
