And to back this up, from a Premier League source quoted in the Guardian article:

In other words, the club was deemed to be solvent. The Holding Company was not, as they had taken out the loan in order to buy the club.

I see you’re struggling with the distinction, and patient as I am, I may have to abandon the attempt to explain it (using quotes from the same article you were quoting from), as you're showing no signs of grasping it.

Have you worked out which book you were reading "extracts" from yet? (I'm only asking because I'd like to read it).

I only said that Broughton would have been aware that was the situation, I don't recall putting "Martin Broughton" at the end of the quote.

I DID put Martin Broughton at the end of the quote about what a fantastic club Liverpool is, you see the distinction? (That's because it was a quote from HIM, you see).

It wasn't a comeback I was genuinely wanting to thank you for being so stupid.
Taking text from some no mark Liverpool blogger and trying to pass it off as a genuine quote takes more stupidity than I can comprehend.

Coming back again to be further humilated is even worse but you keep on doing it.
