We played much better with the diamond, but it left us too open at the back.

Hope Herrera comes on. We still can't shoot, if we could we be 2 or 3-0 up.

Morons

What do you expect with Fellaini and Carrick in midfield.

Has Rooney been any worse than the likes of Di Maria, Carrick, Fellaini, Valencia?

I wouldn't say so, at least he's getting involved. Too many water carriers in our midfield. Swap Blind and Carrick and bring Herrera on for Fellaini.

Can't wait for match of the day if things stay like this

Think if we brought Herrera on for Adnan and played this diamond it would be solid enough:

Di Maria
Herrera Fellaini
Carrick

Not Rooney's fault...pedestrian play with average players. We need pace, power and energy and still don't seem to have it.

Why's Rooney so fecking deep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Somebody has to try and make something happen, Carrick and fellaini are scared to odd more than 10 yards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No,sorry but Rooney needs to play further uptop irrespective of Carrick and Fellaini.
If Rooney played uptop it'll leave more space in midfield for Carrick and Afro-man to play forward balls more regularly.Simple.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The reason why Rooney is playing more deep is because we have the two slowest crabs in the Premier League, Fellaini and Carrick.

These guys are so slow to move the ball further up the pitch, that it becomes impossible to create any space for any of the guys up front.

Herrera is needed
We are bossing possession but to slow playing the ball forward. no incisiveness in the passing whatsoever

Let's spend another £150m and hear how we need another 3 more years to win things again.

And yet Carrick and Fellaini have played more forward passe's than Rooney.

Carrick nearly scored but his first good shot was blocked and the other blocked. Carrick is playing in defence. Herrera should come on for Fellaini, eve since Fellaini came on against Everton we have struggled, why drop Herrera who has been a bright spot for us for Fellaini who seems to watch the ball rather then try to win the ball and drive up field like Herrera. Its amazing how bad Rooney and RVP have become.

Pace and passing is what we are lacking. If we had Scholes I bet RVP would have scored by now today.

So many times he is on the last defenders shoulder, right where he wants them, just needs a pass dropped in behind, Carrick and Fellaini simply can't do it. I don't think we have a midfielder who can?
