There's nothing wrong with how we're playing. It's been this way for years now when minnows come to OT and put 11 men behind the ball.

There really is only so much any team can do when teams come to your ground and put 11 men behind the ball. Just watch Arsenal when they're at home and these teams come and do the same. Frustrates even them who play very good football.

I think it's more to do with having players like Rooney and Fellaini in front of Carrick rather than players like Mata and Herrera.

But mata and Herrera haven't really performed either. It's more than that, we used to say the same with Lagawa, Welbs ect, but it's never come to fruition.

Granted Mata hasn't either but it's obvious that Palace would park the bus so players that can break them down are needed.

People seriously over rate carricks vision. He had so much time and space then, 3/4 options in behind their defence and picks the simple option again.

How people compare him to pirlo is beyond me. Decent at what he does, never offers that something extra to win you a game.

But they are more suited to it. Those are the player who we should play constantly. Rooney and fellaini will fldefinitely not do it.
