You are welcome,but I am sure guys such as Mighty and DC can give you a more accurate analysis of the experiences in Glasgow and western Scotland.

I used to be a bigot,and have wised up,to the extent that drunken Rangers mates drive me crazy,singing sectarian and paramilitary stuff in Glasgow bars,when some of the eejits are married to girls from Dublin,and Catholic girls from NI.

I detest sectarianism and racism,and possibly due to harbouring some of these views in the past,I try to counter these abuses,from all sides,although I do tend to focus on those having a dig at "my side".

Like Mighty,I try,but I do not always succeed.

The concept of North Britishness was engaged to coincide with the railway explosion which started in England and galvanised Scotland.

It spread into finance, commerce etc and made sense.
