Surely this relates to us all in the UK,as England cannot pull out on it's own?

Yes they can.

You don't even know what the promises are how can you want them to succeed or not?

It would be in everyone's best interests to formally join England, genuinely, or else this will always be an issue.
...............................................................

I actually agree with this...

With regards to Wales as well...

Would France be better off if Burgundy had this kind of status as a country with France in a larger country of the united French lands... it just causes unnecessary separation and divide

Although I want Europe then eventually the world united under one banner so maybe thats just me...

SAF is not a zoomer and was actually asking a genuine question,as he does not know our little tribal ways.
He did not say all celts were anti-English either,so you are making the leaps,as you accuse Mighty of doing.

Are you telling me it was only Irish fans of Celtic booing the remembrance silence etc,and before you slate me,I was stciking up for Celtic and bhoys on poppy related threads at the weekend.Too easy to say the GB mob are just Irish fans over for a game.
The Irish and Scottish based bhoys do not have the right to mock a silence, and many bhoys agree.
Wearing a poppy is a choice, but singing through a minutes silence is a shame,no matter where you were born.

You are peerless in winding up the Bears.

You are totally piiish at this

FFS you didn't know what the promises were but wanted them to fail.

I at least wanted to hear what they were.

Mick.

If I could embellish my answer as you have done.

SAF is a top poster & could be forgiven as he has acknowledged.

I'm not too savvy about the religio/politic makeups of the Liverpool and Manchester clubs who have a much diluted history akin to the OF.

Irish tricolours have flown at all 4 stadiums btw.

SAF's comment was an honest blurring.

Chu is being a 100% knobb by swerving my straight Q.

How can you answer that.

It's possible that these new "powers" could make us worse off. How could you want them to succeed.

Had to look up zoomer... and yes it was a genuine question rather than a wind up attempt... I made sure to ask the question from both angles so it had some neutrality to it...

TBH I don't favour either Celtic or Rangers over each other and being half Welsh half English I have no love or attachment to any nationality either really.

Also let me say I have no love for our armed forces, I feel the west using their armed forces to advance our own goals (or the goals of the elites) and they aren't necessarily hero's to me just because they serve...

WW2 was truly our men and women defending our shores, since then to different levels less so.

That said I am no hater of the armed forces and wouldn't boo a minutes silence.

Also my Dad's in the army (this is an improved version of the my friends black/english line )

I would not say it is more of a religious than political/nationalism divide in Scotland, and religion is less important, but I have noticed a deep sectarianism in Glasgow especially, that is as bad as Belfast, from both sides, but without the guns.
I was at games where most in the Rangers end sang,we only hate Roman Catholics, whilst the Celts were calling us durty orange bassa's,and Irish republican army chants, from thousands.
Not like this now,but it is still there,on both sides.

I actually think some in Scotland were more anti-Catholic than here in Belfast,as we were focused on anti - provo feeling, due to the troubles.

To say there is no anti-English feeling among Scottish nat's and some bhoys is just wrong.Ignoring the truth is pointless.

Cheers again tbbab...

So out of interest, I am specifically not asking you this one okay Mick?

Would It be more normal to be an English Catholic Celtic fan or an Irish Protestant Celtic fan, or more accepted should I say... similarly with Rangers and Irish or Catholic...

Mick so there is absolutely no difference in the interactions of religion in football between South and North England?

he's got me doing it now....

I mean between England and Scotland...
