Swiss courts......as if they're going to do anything about it. Blatter has probably bought them already

I wonder what forced their hand.

Could be Russia or Qatar, maybe even England bid

Blatter said: "If we had anything to hide, we would hardly be taking this matter to the Attorney General."

Which Attorney General you crooked

If thats the case, then surely those bids are now null and void

Didnt Eckhart say they had nothing to answer for in the Garcia report?
I reckon sheer weight of Garcias statement and his powerful influence has led to this. An american saving our game

I'm a little confused here, FIFA have lodged a complaint about their own bidding process?

I think it's partly that, bear in mind the Garcia report was sanitised anyway - the Sunday times evidence wasn't used at all.

I'm not surprised with anything with FIFA to be honest, perhaps the ECA have put too much pressure on them and they want to lose Qatar.

I reckon they are fitting us up and has nothing to do with the bids from Qatar and Russia. Watch this space....

Yep me too.

According to Sky, the criminal charges are aimed at individuals, not an FA or bidding party.

I think Blatter is trying to point the finger at his understudies doing the dirty work for him, and of course those involved with the bids from Russia/ Qatar (probably us too).

I'd love that

Any ideas who they are complaining about? Could it actually be someone other than Qatar or Russia seeing as they were cleard by fifa? Could it possibly be the English FA who were accused of wrongdoing?

Or is it likely that fifa have bowed to pressure (most likely from sponsors threatening to pull out) and actually found russia and qatar guilty of something?

That's what I'm thinking too. It's a defensive move to try and save his own a$$. He's probably going to pretend he's just finding this out now and is just as determined as everyone else to put a stop to it

No doubt.

I'm surprised nobody has come out and said it from within to be honest, even as a whistle-blower.

Wouldnt be surprised if Blatter gets rubbed out of he facks with the Russian bid

"Eckhert said there is insufficient incriminating evidence to call into question the whole bidding process."

Hmmm.
