Glenghis,
The irritating thing is that there is over a million different pieces of evidence that Garcia didn't even look at.
Under orders from Blatter ???

----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were all in the box marked "of no importance to your investigation"...I see no reason why he'd look at those...
Garcia is a heavyweight player, married into the FBI, friends in very high and powerful places. The FBI have been investigating FIFA for a while now, so pressure must have been applied.
Imagine if Blatter is an undercover FBI agent!
Does any of this make sense to anyone here though?
FIFA hired that German to sum up the report which they refused to release to the public.
His conclusion was that there wasn't enough evidence to bring up criminal charges. Blatter said the matter was settled.
Garcia, the original investigator in the full report, criticized the summary of it, stating it was a misrepresentation.
Now FIFA are choosing to bring up criminal complaints
Glenghis,
Partly, Garcia was seen as a FIFA man up to the point he publicly criticised the report, which is what made it so amazing when he did.
When he was collating the evidence, which ran for quite a long time, the Sunday Times investigations broke right at the end of it. Garcia refused to look at the evidence they had found because it was two days after he had decided his information gathering period was finished.
We need to get the fappening guy in here to start hacking some FIFA computers

It would certainly make him a legend if he was.
"His conclusion was that there wasn't enough evidence to bring up criminal charges. Blatter said the matter was settled."
I don't think he ever said that did he? Just that it would take longer for him to pass judgement on the report than it has done.

Garcia has a very well formed and respected reputation which I cant see him compromising for the sake of a corrupt organisation. Hes gone up against the Mafia in his job.

Wouldn't he be CIA?
I'm still really confused? So Eckert said there was nothing in the case that showed Qatar or Russia doing anything wrong so who exactly are FIFA making a complain over, is it based on something that was put into Eckert's 42 page report or stuff missed out but in Garcia's 430 page report?
Are FIFA trying to pretend they know nothing and are completely innocent and it is others within that are corrupt?
