You pay £29m for a player, you expect instant results. He certainly hasn't justified his price tag.

Hard to get instant results from an injured player

Although Balotelli has been pash, I wouldnt say he was the worst simply because most people (apart from Rodgers) knew he was pash all along so he's just living up to expectations.

Lovern and Lukaku have been the most disappointing. Both had brilliant seasons last year but look a shadow of themselves this season

Good points. I've placed balotelli on top because out of the lot he's not only unlikely to improve, but his presence is probably damaging Liverpool.

But like I said, Balo might prove us all wrong and turn out to be the striker his attitude suggests he is.

I do think it's unfair to include Rojo and Herrera. Herrara has barely played because of his injuries (and has been an infinite improvement on our CM in comparison to the previous 3 years). Rojo has been part of an ever changing defence. I vaugley remember reading that United have used 14 different centre back partnerships this season - with Smalling/Rojo being the most common - at 2 (this might not be 100% accurate, but it is something along those lines).

Not sure who you'd put there instead, but I think there are probably worse players signed this summer.

As for top 10, I think you need to include Abel Hernandez in there somewhere.

They are both flops, Jay.

Falcao "loan" deal still around £6M which doesn't include his wages.
At what point does a loan deal become worse than a permanent one?

I think it's too early to label them flops, to be honest. I just don't think injuries and playing in a injury rife team is a good way of judging a player. I also don't think Di maria should be in the top 10. We paid £60m for him, if he wasn't performing then I'd be worried. He's doing what's expected.

Rojo and Herrera have been poor so far...injuries or not. It's up to them to prove they're better than what they've showed so far.

Galv is definitely in the top 1 of JA606 LADS.

I'd agree with Mangala for us, not Fernando though. He's been very good considering how poor Toure has been and cost less than we got for Garcia.

Rio was well overpriced, even for a free!

I'd agree with what was said earlier, not sure we deserve a player on either list tbh although I guess a new expensive player being injured is also disappointing!

At £60M Di Maria needs to be winning games single handedly to deserve a spot!

Fair points. Hindsight I would probably replace Di Maria with Abel Hernandez.

IMO swap Balotelli and Lovren - both have been woeful but Lovren cost more

Who'd have thought Pelle would have such an impact in the PL

Costa is easily the best transfer. We sold Lukaku for £28m and got Costa for little more than £30m. That is our best business since buying Azipi for £8m.

Worst transfer must be Adam Lallana. Liverpool paid nearly the same for him as we paid for Fabregas.
