Costa is easily the best transfer. We sold Lukaku for £28m and got Costa for little more than £30m. That is our best business since buying Azipi for £8m.
----------------------------
I get where you're coming from, but your best buy is definitely Cesc. For the amount you paid, his experience in the PL, and that you managed to convince him to join, he's the real difference for you.
Herrera, Herrara
Tomato, Tomater
More I think about the more you can't have Balotelli top. Cost £16m, less than some other Liverpool signings. He's also been made the scapegoat for their dodgy start to the season.
Lovren and Lallana worse signings IMO.
Markovic just smacks of a "Eric Lamela" type signing. All hype and little substance.
Agree. Very little substance from what we've seen so far
Only just noticed, there isn't a single defender in the best 10 list. None really deserving, or they just been overlooked?
It's abig team orientated list and none of them have really stood out.
Rojo and Shaw for united.
Dire for Tottenham
And Lovren Manquillo and someone else at Liverpool.
Chambers at Arsenal...
Maybe some good defensive signings but they happened at clubs outside the top 7. (Last years top 7)
Sagna for City as well as Luis for Chelsea, no stand outs though.

I genuinely cannot think of a single defender who deserves a place in that list. Chambers, I believe, is a good buy, but him being shunted out right has tarnished his early season promise.
Really thought Steven Caulker might have been a great buy, but he's had an awful start in an awful team at QPR.
Creswell's been pretty good for West Ham

He's been decent. Wouldn't say he's been a standout player though. West Ham along with Chelsea have probably done the best business in the summer.
Robertson apparently been pretty decent for Hull. Having said that I have no idea when he signed or if it's even true
I've watched hull twice and West ham 3 times so ill stay quiet on their performances..

Yes he has been decent and signed this summer, from Dundee.
Bertrand at Southampton, although I guess it is his 76th loan spell rather than a permanent signing.
Shaws almost repaid his fee already with his performances
Herrera shouldn't even be on there. He's looked good whenever he's played besides 30mins against Leicester where the whole team fell apart.
5 games, 2 goals, 1 assist, 89% pass completion. That's probably more goals and assists than our CMs got combined in the whole of last season.
