Irish, with respect, I'm not sure it is right to highlight someone's apparent mental illness, particularly on a sports forum.
However you didn't name names so there is some defence to your speculation.
I have checked some aspects of mental illness and a couple of issues come to mind.
---------------------------------------------
Schizophrenia - symptoms
** delusions - unusual beliefs not based on reality which often contradict the evidence
** muddled thoughts based on the delusions
---------------------------------------------
those descriptions could well be attributed to more than one poster on here.
---------------------------------------------
Paranoia - symptoms
** thinking other people are lying to them or trying to manipulate them
** thinking there are hidden meanings in remarks most would regard as innocent
---------------------------------------------
Not so many on this one.
Even so I think we should be careful claiming any poster may be suffering from mental illness. Such an accusation could unhinge them and finally push them over the edge.

Yeah the Samaritans were kinda d!cks.
It'll take some time to get everything out of my system but I'll certainly try.
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
Superb idea Irish, I have been trying to keep some of them sane and online after the events at Abu Dhabi as they would be traumatised
There are some good mental health articles on wiki though
