Chronics going to be froffing at the mouth reading this
It's just the "anti-Chronic" setup. It might just be a coincidence it's named after a top guy like him.
Who did you pair in the middle? You obviously have you views on DM and actually let’s not forget it wasn’t such a big thing 15 years ago but of course you’d expect your full-back to be a little more reserved as a result, how did they approach the game? When you look at the best 4-4-2s the centre mids as you say have it all, excuse the example but Viera and Petit we’re perfect for it, both players could fulfil either role and were both formidable in the physical battle.
well it wasn't a pure 4 4 2 was it
Kane was playing behind Soldado, not alongside him. Kane did a lot of defensive work on the Everton DMs
and considering that you want Poch out, then why are you making an article bigging up his tactics?
Bentelab & Mason. Neither are 'defensive midfielders' but Bentelab can play the so-called holding role.
Pressure to watch professional footballers who can both tackle and move quickly with the ball in possession .
F.u,king Étienne Capoue is a symbol of everything wrong with Spurs since Redknapp left. A player who cannot pass or dribble, signed because he's big and can tackle. Huddlestone was/is a much better player.
"well it wasn't a pure 4 4 2 was it"
clutching at straws.
"Kane was playing behind Soldado, not alongside him. Kane did a lot of defensive work on the Everton DMs"
A second striker can always drop behind with 4 4 2.
"and considering that you want Poch out, then why are you making an article bigging up his tactics?"
I did not want anyone out. I said he will be sacked at somepoint by Levy, unless Levy resigns first. I stand by that.
I also I would prefer Pullis as manager. I would.
I said he will be sacked by Levy at some point, unless he I stand by that comment and he will be.
RC - you do know that I don't pick the team or have anything to do with the coaching set up...... why are you creating articles about my "strategy"?
I don't have a single coaching badge you clown
and as for wumming me about spurs winning
I am really heartbroken we picked up the points
Sorry you're rattled but I'm quite pleased the 'ant-chronic' worked a treat yesterday.
Say hi to AVB for me later.
I also I would prefer Pullis as manager. I would.

Arsey wants Pulis at the helm
Why not Pullis? It is clear most of you lot are pretty disillusioned by a lack of commitment in the players, Pullis may not be fashionable but at least he’d put an end to the rot and root out those not willing to put in a shift. He’d get you back to basics and most importantly difficult to beat, you know you’d be in a game rather than the pushovers you’ve become. By all means replace him after two seasons one the ship has been steadied and a more progressive manager is available and ready to be backed to take the next step.
I would ask people to post any substantial evidence that MP is a better manager than Pullis. We are hoping that is the case merely.
Pullis at Stoke was very, very good. At Palace he was exceptional. MP's biggest achievement to date is one manager of the month award last season.
Pullis would be playing the anti-Chronic every game .

I’m not saying you should replace your current manager, just I don’t think Pullis would be such a bad candidate.
I really haven’t seen much of you this season under him so reserve judgment, going more by your comments on here.
Good post by blue I have to say.
Apart from, "by all means replace him after two seasons one the ship has been steadied and a more progressive manage".
Since when was a total rejection of a simple but effective 4 4 2 with wide play considered to be 'progressive'. Chelsea and Spurs both had 'progressive' with AVB.
Never Again. Going forward it has to be anti-Chronic tendencies all the way.
Say what you want about Pullis but he gets the basics working. IMO, we won yesterday because we simply did the basics well.
anyway, I hope the anti-chronic strategy works on Wednesday
you mean like Poch has done recently..... ?

1 game chronic. One game. Yes the players are lazy s but it doesn't bode well for his man management skills.
The anti-Chronic is a tried and tested strategy but it might not be suitable against Chelsea. At Chelsea you might be wanting to play with 5 in midfield. Some variation of the full-chronic method. Turgid football but a draw at the end of it, like at Arsenal earlier.
whichever tactics get the points then that is fine by me.
whether it is anti-chronic or not
