So I'm afraid the word smug means the opposite of what you seem to think it means. Deriding our win because its only Sheffield Wednesday would be more along the lines of treating you disrespectfully. However as big a club as you are, you are now a mid-table League 1 side with mid-table League 1 players (actually, worse tonight as I understand you weren't full strength). If you beat a team from the conference (Alfreton Town? ) 3-1 at home in the cup, some of your fans would be saying "its only Alfreton Town". Its not smug, disrespectful or anything else. Its just the reality that we are 2 leagues apart.
