To the OP though, are you annoyed with God that you weren't Batman?
Not going to get into this, other than to recommend Bill Maher's documentary "Religulous". Look it up on YouTube.
It's nothing short of fantastic, from an extremely funny and intelligent presenter. His points are nigh-on impossible to argue with.
It's basically a feature length film, but you'll be hooked in the first 10 minutes.

Yes
There are many Gods and they are involved in an endless battle with one another until Ragnarok. Some Gods are stronger than others. For instance, the Jewish God is obviously stronger than the Palestinian God.

There are many Gods and they are involved in an endless battle with one another until Ragnarok. Some Gods are stronger than others. For instance, the Jewish God is obviously stronger than the Palestinian God.

For my part I'm watching the Maher - Harris - Affleck debate.
Only a few minutes in but it appears to revolve around prejudice towards Muslims.
That's not what this article is debating - it's debating the merits of religion and God at all.
Watch Religulous.
Bill Maher is brilliant. He speaks common sense. Certainly a lot more than most of the people he parodies.

Only a few minutes in but it appears to revolve around prejudice towards Muslims.

I just started watching it on youtube and realised that I had already watch it.
Wings fans I have watched a lot of the Bill Maher show, he is ALWAYS offering his opinion on religion in general.
In this feature length documentary he is doing more of the same. Watch his shows on youtube and you will see what I mean.
I've worked a lot as a cameraman and editor and you can always tell a genuine documentary from a cynical one from the way they edit it.
In the Bill Maher documentary it is littered with moments where Bill Maher asks what is perceived to be a difficult question. The editor then cuts in on a close up from a different time where the interviewee is listening to what Bill has to say to make it look like he's lost for words. They then cut back to a wider angle when he/she answers Bills question.
They use this trick constantly.
