Are there many scientific stories or theories that are utterly bizarre or ridiculous?

Now I'm not the most religious person in the world, but from the little I know about the content of various religious books/text/scriptures, it seems there is more sense in science books than there is in religious books.

of course there are scientific extremists, those who loudly and unceasingly spout their own theories and blindly argue against other theories or repudiations of theirs

human nature

but they don't shoot school kids in the face though, if you don't agree with them, do they?

not human nature

Depends which of the four simultaneous days you've caught him on. Forza has been known to be particularly touchy on Sunup.

Is God real?

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
Psalm 19

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Romans 1:20

"God is unfair" and "God never helps me":

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

its not God who is the problem. Its his moronic
'disciples' on Earth who are the problem.

If there is a God I very much doubt he wants people on earth to go round writing books on his behalf and praying to him. He'd want people to go out and love each other and treat each other with respect and just be happy.

I genuinely despair at some religious people who take it all far too seriously.

A relative lent me a copy of 'The Daniel Project' last week. Excellent watch and I would highly recommend it to all participants of this thread.
