Games against newcastle, stoke, city, utd there was space to run in behind the defence and against southampton we needed that bit of magic that remy could of created to score or set up a goal.
Do not know what jose is doing but we must of got the wrong man back from spain it feels. Our dip of form has coincided with his reluctance to play remy and him starting mikel and drogba featuring.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Against Newcastle and Southampton there was space to run in behind the defence? They parked the bus if anything Drogba should have come on earlier. We needed a target man not someone who is gonna be overshadowed by 4 players in the box. Against City he would've made no difference as they were all over us throughout the game and we beat Stoke so.....
Drogba has been our best impact player from the bench. When we need to hold a lead there isn't anyone better to time waste.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Read again, southampton wasnt included but we need someone like remy to unlock the defence not someone like drogba who quite frankly looked lost, tumbling over in the box, not his type of game. Too quick for him.If you dont think there was space against newcastle then fair enough but remy could of nicked a goal that game even though drogba did, just using examples.
As for drogba being our best player to come on and defend a lead, did he come or against city ?I know he started against utd and we drew both games.
remy 3 in 6, drogba 6 in 23.
Remy needs to be used more. The drogba fan boys
Remy has had minimal impact for us this half of the season
----------------------------
Kev and this is proof that you simply don't like Remy because you are not even looking at the facts or at least you are trying your best to ignore them.
Remy has scored 2 goals in 170 minutes of PL football for Chelsea this season which is better than a goal per game.
Remy has not played enough football and all the evidence we have of him so far in a Chelsea shirt is that he would score plenty of goals if only he actually played more.
Your biased comments against Remy are really getting out of hand and you just seem to spend the majority of your time on this site putting him down.
We are top of the league with 46 points after 19 games with Remy having little impact on the team - that's the fact to suggest otherwise is a lie.

Remy has had minimal impact for us this half of the season and we are sitting with 46 points, 14 wins 4 draws and 1 loss. If we repeat this again next half - we win the title easy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he hasnt been used!and hes still scored 3 in 6 appearances or something and drogba has 6 in 23. You do the maths.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah those goals have come up against United to help us get a point and Against Spurs he assisted and scored to help us get 3 points - he has had an impact, and that impact is the trust that Mourinho has in him to carry on - it's that simple, don't know why some are so far up Remy's ar.se to not be able to see that - silliness again from Nick
Goals per min stat is only viable when the sample size is big enough you lot should learn how to use stats properly, or next you'd be saying Ba was one of the best strikers in the league last season - you two keep bum licking Remy.
I dont think KDB is that biased towards any player. He might have players he likes but generally he calls it down the middle.
you two keep bum licking Remy.
-------------------------------------------------
You don't seem to guage peoples feeling very well Kev - it's not a case of 'bum licking' as you call it but a recognition that the Drogs return hasn't been blessed with the form people had hoped.
Same as me, I don't want to see a tactic that is not working time and again blindly persevered with and would rather see something else tried to see if it works!
Oh kev you are cute.
How you can accuse anyones views as silly is very hypocritical(sp?) my friend, if we miss out on the league by a few points you will have egg on your face.
Im not saying drogba has not had an impact, but remy could of had more of one, we have made a few wrong turns this season and to win the league it is slim margins, I hope it doesnt come back to bite us. The lack of game time for remy, the playing hazard for 90 minutes when were cruising, the sitting back against utd and city.
Ba should of played more last season too imo, dont get why jose never played him more, always a threat when he played. And that cost us in the long run.
is this still going?
I think the case for Remy to have more opportunities is clear. I think the case for continuing to select Drogba isn't.
Cos it certainly isn't form and fitness as KDB would try to have us believe

From what I gather at the start people were already placing Drogba to be 3rd choice striker - I didn't think so, saw enough at Galatasaray and Newcastle to know he can play a more prominent part in this team than Remy, which I am right with at the moment. And another thing which annoyed me was, he was basically written off after his first game.
So far he has shown he can contribute.....with his contributions, and judging by the thoughts on him at the start - I would say he has surpassed many of them. Remy has been unlucky along with other factors - which you can see my thoughts on with my first post on this thread.
This is not a problem area - our first two strikers suit our play and have done very well. The problem lies in AM atm, maybe a case for Remy to start or play a more influential role in AM in Schrulle's or Willians position, think that's what may happen, we'll see - but to me, and it seems like the coaching staff, right now it makes no sense to play Remy over Drogba. 46 points from 19 games sitting top of the table, joint top scorers and best defence in the league, would suggest they know what they're doing?? I really couldn't give a fack about either, if it was up to me, I'd replace both this January along with probably bringing in Reus and Khedira.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with half of this, and lets agree to disagree with the rest
We should not have sold Luiz
right now it makes no sense to play Remy over Drogba.
--------------------------------
Actually it makes perfect sense Kev. Especially in certain games.
Against Southampton we had one single shot on target and that was only because of a moment of brilliance from Hazard.
Bringing on Drogba had little to no effect in that game.
What we needed was a direct and quicker player to get at Southampton's back line and Remy would have been far more suited to that role than Drogba.
It's not about bum licking Remy as you put it. That's absurd. It's about realising that for certain situations some personnel are more suited to the job than others.
Also you keep talking about Remy as if he's a flop yet in the short amount of game time he's had he's given a very good account of himself. All the signs point to him being a Chelsea standard player that could help us score a lot of goals if actually given a proper chance.
Away from home we're not scoring enough goals of late and I would like to see Remy at least brought on in those games as a sub even if he does have to play wide.
I don't see how you can argue with that.
Yes we're top of the league but unless you haven't noticed our lead is slipping and if things carry on as they are then City may well overtake us.
It's no good us patting ourselves on the back when there is clearly an issue that needs to be addressed and our lead is getting clawed away.
Superb
I don't agree with the Southampton part, they shut up shop, and you know my feelings on Remy as a hold up player - didn't make any sense to bring him on in that game at that point imo.....actually maybe for Willian, but he was a sub himself.
I'm not saying he is a flop, I'm saying, and I'll keep repeating, we are top 46 points, 19 games played with the best attack and defence in the league, with minimal input from Remy. Interpret that how you want.
Our lead is slipping away because we are not faultless - we have weaknesses and City are still a brilliant team. I'm not one of those Chelsea fans that thought we can go the season unbeaten, and certainly not one that thought this team can match the 95 points total of the 04/05 team, I'm realistic and realise that City will be there with us, we just have to keep on performing to the level we have this first half of the season. There was always going to be a period when we dropped points, and this is it.
Regarding weaknesses - there are weaknesses and RW, CM are areas we have to address this January - hopefully with Reus and Khedira.
Probably CB as well - don't really rate Cahill, but that's something we can do in the summer.
