Willy Sagnol on Yaya Sanogo loan deal: "Yes, we are hoping to get it done."
Good. The sooner we get players out the more likely a player will come in.
Hopefully Yaya's loan deal can be sorted out quickly so he can start scoring ASAP.
Didn't Wenger say that 'Podolski to Milan is a joke'
I can't understand the logic - you need more players, not less. Wenger needs to do something in this window.
I now await a Joel Campbell loan to leave us with no depth in that department.
No I think he meant Inter's initial offer was a joke. Obviously they accepted the one he was talking about yesterday.

no he said their 1st offer was a joke, so they came in with a 2nds
Don't forget Vermaelen. Just because a player leaves doesn't mean they will be replaced.

==========
We need more players in certain positions.
Just not in Podolski's. Hence why he and Joel Campbell have barely had a start all season.
With Walcott back and Ozil not far off, plus Serge Gnabry expected to play a part on Monday night, there will be even less need for Podolski.
this transfer window will be the one that turns the remaining AKB's into WOB, cos Arsene wont sign anyone of note, im expecting another Kalstrom type loan deal.
But the worst part is he'll get rid of a few players
With our injury history, it would be insane to lose Podolski, Sanogo and Joel and not bring in a striker.
The deluded AKB in me says Wenger must have a decent striker lined up as a replacement.
HUNTING FOR GLORY - the remaining AKBs are never gonna turn man. Wenger's got so many obvious flaws that they have excuses for, it doesn't matter what happens, they are always gonna support him.

Nah, at best there's a loan deal for an out of favour one somewhere. Or maybe a £5m/£6m type. Not the WC one we need.
to be fair giroud and welbeck would both be ahead of him when fit which is the majority of games,
who cares if we sign someone or not, as long as everyone hates wenger after its fine...

Thing is Podolski is an excellent option to have, especially if we tried 2 up front sometimes. Don't think many people would be disappointed if we sold him and replaced him with an option that would do better / fit in more with our squad. The fear is that that won't happen though.
I think Joel Campbell won't be sold, btw, because Pod and Sanogo are out. He'll probably become the bench option.
Doubt we will bring in a striker. Wenger is happy to have Giroud, Welbeck and then the likes of Walcott and Alexis as back up.
Chuba Akpom is going to smash Hull on Sunday, and worries will be over anyway.
all this stuff about joel being sold is rubbish, he needs time to settle into the country his time will come

If he does then it will be wengers fault for not playing him earlier
Poldi's a great option from the bench but unfortunately he earns 100k a week and for Arsene a plyer earning that much has to be better than a sub, hence why hes leaving.
Once again its all about balancing the books and finance
Real lack of talk regarding JC as well, very different to the summer. This suggests, maybe, his agent is not offering him around Europe and JC is staying.
