You only have to look at the formation of the Mormon church to know that any fraud can start a religion

There is a Mormon church right outside my house, bunch of weirdos. And look at this monstrosity

Do you know the story of how the church was formed ? It's hilariousand yet millions of people (particularly Americans) believe itit is genuinely staggering how they do

Something to do with a random yank saying he was a prophet or something? I know they all put 10% of their earnings into the church.

That's the church, I have to see it everyday looking out my window.

Gits.

The way I see it is thus:

I envy anyone who finds solace in their faith.
But not one of your Gods would be happy for you to kill in his name, so I ask, who are you doing it for?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

They do it for power, nothing to do with God's commands.

Islam under the leadership of Muhammad (pbuh) is how it should be judged.

Why did he fight wars and how much did Islam expand and why?

I'm sure there is a hint of sarcasm in there, but I can't quite get what you're getting at.

Are you agreeing Muhammed could be as much of a fraud as Mr Smith?

"We are not drones, we ask questions, "

So why don't you ask questions as to the validity of your religious text?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I did for a very long time.

I read books and did my research, I spoke to converts to get other opinions and I found the answers I needed.

As a cameraman, I was asked to film a documentary about converts in Britain after 9/11 and why they chose the faith after so much bad pres.

Hearing there stories also made my faith stronger.

FYI.... It turns out most of them read the Quran to see why these terror attacks were happening and then ended up falling in love with the religion.

Some are in love with bin laden too, doesnt make bin laden right or good
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Some are in love with Hitler as well, doesn't make Hitler right or good

I dont get the "man made" argument being put forward by those who are anti religion.

Everything you follow is man made. Democracy and even freedom are man made concepts.

Do you reckon? You really believe they tracked him down after all those years, just to shoot him and then chuck him in the sea? Why?

I doubt he is, even though it's true

Reminds me of the Jimmy Carr joke:

" I've got a Muslim friend who is really religious, he knows the Quran backwards.

Which is how you read it... a surprisingly well-informed and inoffensive joke about the Islamic faith; and thats because I am not a fücking idiot.

What are the Christians gonna do? Forgive me? "

But we don't put a divine beings name on it.

In today's world, that's called fraud.

Did anyone know that a MUSLIM policeman was killed in the Charlie Hebdo attacks ??? His name was Ahmed Merabet. Seems he gave his life standing up to Terrorists...I think that says more then some Muslim guy on TV saying he condemns the Terrorists which some here think should happen.......

10% of your income goes back into the church? Lots of talk of false prophets, but this religion really is making a false profit. The communion wine should be top quality.

Ok Islam is not the problem but the people that practice It.
---------------------------------------------
No it is not okay because you have said again that everyone practising Islam are the problem, that's 1.7 billion people. I do not think that is what you meant. It appears you have a problem with the English Language as you are not from here and it is not your first language.

Is that better for you pc brigade?
--------------------------------------------

I'm not sure you understand what PC brigade means. Is it because you are foreign that you do not understand English terms?

Immigrants like you are the problem, come over here and not learn our language.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was born here lol

But I see what u mean and respect ur free speech. All I know is that, Islam is not peace love.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Based on what scholarly research is it not peace and love?

"Muslims" aren't a problem though - this is where people go wrong. It's extremists, who base their view on an archaic form of Islam. So what if there was a Muslim police officer? He's a Muslim not an extremist. It's made out as if he was standing up to his own people, which is rubbish.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

No sarcasm but an attempt at humour.

What is true is that false prophets were warned of by Muhammad..

Interestingly enough if you read about the Prophets from Noah Moses to Muhammad you find those who opposed didnt disbelieve as such. They couldnt let go of what they had been told and afraid to lose power amd influence and invented stuff

The golden calf is classic example of people saying they dont believe and having a disagreement but then creating something to worship

Mormons athiests etc are no different
