Bell old habits are hard to break. They started when we got the money in the first place and is difficult for them to change attitudes. Take the case of Yaya. for the first 2 seasons we in the crowd were watching a box to box midfield player who occasionally got knackered after running forward. According to the press we were playing 3 centre halves across the back and 2 fullbacks. This is on the back of scoring most goals in the prem they pick on an Italian pack the defence game we were allegedly playing.
Now Yaya is a hopeless defender, doesn't drop back enough and hasn't scored enough goals this season.
And the worst part is that people actually believe their crap.

Lee,
so true!
I'd forgotten the whole Yaya saga. Remember how commentators/pundits would be puzzled when Mancini took off an attacker and brought on a midfielder. Negative tactics we were told and when it happened when we were drawing we'd be shutting up shop/typical Italian - until it dawned on them that Yaya was then able to play more freely up the pitch - oh, and score match-winning goals. That one seems to be accepted now but it took an awfully long time for the pundits to realise it.

Wow. This is pathetic. You're turning into a really whiny, paranoid lot. Everyone, from the media to the FA to UEFA is apparently out to get you. No one has any kind of agenda against City and Kompany, Silva, Aguero and Zabaleta get incredibly positive press as the league's best players in their positions. Even overrated Hart still gets talked up like some kind of elite keeper. Toure's poor form that got some stick is supposed to be some kind of press agenda? Get over yourself, ffs.

Last summer, Utd spent approx. £150m which is the same money that City and Chelsea spent in their biggest spending window (season 10/11 and 03/04 respectively).

-------------------

City spend almost £130m in the 2 transfer windows before that.

You're spot on Bell.

Do you remember at the end of Mancini's first full season? We finished 3rd, level on points with Runners-Up, Chelsea.

We were delighted but the media were saying "With a squad costing that much, City should really be winning the title"

Do you think they'll be saying the same about LVG in May assuming that they don't finish in top spot or will we be hearing about players needing to 'gel' or a club 'in transition', phrases that were brushed aside when City were undergoing a total rebuild.

You lot sound like Jose with his "campaign", just in case you didn't realise

Such a paranoid lot.

Are you going to protest against UEFA at your next CL game, or is that only for when you need somebody to blame for your failures?

Its probably because we havn't got a Moyes to blame. Do you realise on the back of spending 29M Moyes record is as good as Van G's so far in the season RR

You're 2 points off top spot, have just spent £28m on a striker and are spending your days getting upset that another team aren't getting shít in the media. WTF is wrong with you?

They do not even see the stupidity of a single City fan's post being referred to as the post or opinion of all City fans.
Nor do they question why they are bothered about City fans post on their City board.

It's the second whiny City post today:

Bet you wish you had the choice to protest Uefa at a cl game this season ruiney

See the chinless wonder got a bit touchy when a journo mentioned United had the same amount of points under Moyes at this stage last year.

Chinless wonder

Forget about the lack of chin, what about the rest of his weird head?

Here's a few of ny Robbie Savage favourites:

"United just need a couple of Central Defenders to be genuine title defenders"

"City are a one man team, they would finish mid-table if they lost Aguero"

"Chelsea are the only team playing attractive football at the moment"

"City spent a fortune on Aguero, he's only doing what he's paid to do"

posted on 12/1/15

So you are basing your whining on comments made by Robbie Savage?

posted on 12/1/15

Yes, yes I am.

Oh...

Well, if it makes you feel better I think you play great football. you always keep the opposition on the back foot and whoever you play against genuinely look afraid. You pass the ball around the box without losing possession or passing back to your own half. You score a lot of goals; team goals, individual goals and forced own goals. I always fear playing you.

Feel better now?

posted on 12/1/15

The comments made weren't about Savage's comment's so what are you rambling about?

posted on 12/1/15

What about Robbie Savage infamous 'City are on the brink of crisis' days before the last Derby?!

Did anyone read his insight to a footballers Christmas article?! What a pile of waank. Guys got fewer interesting stories in a career of football than Balotelli racks up going to the corner shop.

P.s it's any northern mans right to have a good whinge.
